Here are the rules: you must match up the 2 actors listed within 6 "steps" or adjoining movies. In other words, it is just like the Kevin Bacon game except he does not necessarily have to be involved. The winner then chooses 2 different actors/actresses and someone else must match them up, etc. If it cannot be done in 6 degrees then just do it in as few as possible.

First challenge:

Christopher Walken and Jim Carrey

Easy.
Can do it in one step.

Christopher Walken was in Biloxi Blues with Matthew Broderick who was in The Cable Guy with Jim Carrey. :D

I'll add mine in a minute.

OK, here's a slightly harder one.

Elijah Wood -> Spencer Tracy.

There are 6 links between them, all going backwards in time in terms of films. Good Hunting :D

I can do it in this many:
Elijah Wood was in Lord of the Rings (2001) (obviously) with Christopher Lee. Mr Lee was in The Crimson Pirate (1952) with Burt Lancaster who apeared in Judgement at Nuremburg (1961) with Spencer Tracy. Sorry I haven't got dates for these, but that would require internet cheating. I may look them up later. :)

[edit]: Everything in bold

OK then, how's about: Timothy Spall to Malcolm McLaren? :D

Not quite what I was looking for, Dukey.

Mine went like this:

Elijah Wood was in Lord of the Rings with Ian Holm
Ian Holm was in Chariots of Fire with Sir John Gielgud
Sir John was in Around the World in 80 Days with Frank Sinatra
Ol'Blue Eyes was in From Here To Eternity with Montgomery Clift
Gay Monty was in A Place in the Sun with Elizabeth Taylor
Liz was in National Velvet with Mickey Rooney

who was of course in Boystown with Spencer Tracy :D

Six degrees of separation, all in chronological order.

But duke went and marched onto the top of the hill, and marched on down again.

But go ahead with the Spall -> McLaren one. I have it worked out, but I'll leave it for someone else.

Timothy Spall with Sting in "Quadrophenia" and Sting in "The Filth and the Fury" with Malcolm McLaren
:D

Oh I will, but I just waited for your confirmation!
:goodjob:

Match Milla Jovovich with Latitia Casta!

Now that is beautiful.
:D

He's in every film!

Milla Jovovich was in Joan of Arc with John Malkovich. He was in The Man in the Iron Mask with Gerard Depardieu who played Obelix in Asterix versus Caesar, also starring Laetitia Casta!

Yet another John Malkovich link! There really ought to be a game of 3 degrees of John Malkovich because he's so close to so many people!

How about: Oddjob (Harold Sakata) and Howlin' Mad Murdoch (Dwight Schultz) then? :D
And try to avoid John Malkovich!! ;)

I´ll take BOTH (no time yesterday)! :yeah:
Here is the old one:

Harold Sakata was in Goldfinger with Sean Connery who was in Finding Forrester with F. Murray Abrahan who was in Star Trek 9-Insurrection with Patrick Stewart who was in Star Trek 8-First Contact with Dwight Schultz as Reginald Barclay.

And the other one:

Harold Sakata in Goldfinger with Connery in Never say Never Again with Max von Sydow in Judge Dredd with Jürgen Prochnow in Beverly Hills Cop II with Eddie Murphy.

I´ll think of a new one if it´s right!
:D

Actually my nick comes from my last name! Nothing to do with being lucky.
It´s a Germany nick after all, but I like it, so I´ll keep it! :yeah:

Try this:

Link Franka Potente with Sylvester Stallone
:D

If I knew who Franka Potente was then I would have a chance at solving this one.

Franka Potente was in "Der Krieger und die Kaiserin" with Benno Führmann.
Benno Führmann was in "Der Eisbär" with Til Schweiger.
Til Schweiger was in "Driven" with Sylvester Stallone.

Btw, is your nick pronounced like "looky" then?

I had another connection in mind, but that would be right, too.

And my nick in English should be pronounced as the word itself, aber in Deutsch sagen manche Lucky (mit deutschem u) aber viele, insbesondere die jüngere Generation auch Lucky (mit amerikanischem u).

You turn again, Hitro.
:D

Christopher Walken in "Pulp Fiction" with Harvey Keitel, in "Rising Sun" with Sean Connery, in "Murder in the Orient Express" with Micheal York, in "Logan´s Run" with Peter Ustinov, in "Death on the Nile" with David Niven, in "Pink Panther" with Peter Sellers.

Ha, exactly 6 steps! I think it can be done in 3 but I like this, a few of the best movies ever!
:D

Almost forgot about this thread! :o
Here, try this:

Link Sophia Loren with Michelle Pfeiffer

Just a few steps this time.
:D
