if he's bent on crushing demons, even if he becomes one he would rather go for hyborem than the humans, unless he somehow sees them as being a better target somehow.
Is it possible to have Two differnet Barbarian Civilizations?
Is it possible to have Two differnet Barbarian Civilizations?
I think there was some mod (maybe just a plan) that split barbarians and animals as separate barbarian civs.
The idea about the "good barbarians" attacking the demons seems excellent.
Maybe even make 2 barbarians, one good, the other evil and the Demons and AI allied with the respective ones and see the whole world as a huge battlefieldSeems like a fun idea, although i think it would be just too heavy on cpu use...
Howabout using the same mechanic for Basium, that is used for Barnaxus? Or have his body as a Unique feature, that also grants Life mana.
Howabout a mechanic, that when you resurrect Basium, it turns out that he has been tainted by Hyborem, or some other minor infernal leader, and he becomes a schizophrenic angel/demon.Spoiler :And let this event spawn Basiums twin sister Gyra, who effectively replaces him and lets you play for the mercurians again, instead of having to build the mercurian gate. Also some adjustments, since she is the angel of death under Arawn
Giggles as hero for Keyleens playgroud...why didnt I think of it?
The Repentant - I imagine a fraction of the Calabim to join them. In the original lore I imagined that Flauros had a toy girl, who he liked to play with and seduce her, and in an act of jealousy, Alexis made her a vampire. The girl now seeks to redeem herself and fights the original fraction of the calabim, who would be part of the Crimson Guild*great idea btw.
Id also prefer to introduce new leaders, maybe offspring of the original ones in regard of the originals having been killed by the demons (they were prime targets of course)
The elves united seem fine, though Id much rather have them unite under a neutral/evil leader, than a good one.
Lore-wise:Seeing the nature been tainted so much and combined with Esus' distrust, they would plan on exterminating all the other races as to never have anyone call the demons again. Also a quest to purify the nature (from their point of view, it was not tainted only by the demons, but by everyone). Very fanatical. Also, Leaves of Esus sounds more interesting and brings a bigger resemblance between them.
The Alliance of Free People could also contain remnants of the Kuriotates - Lamia could go well with free Lanun (imagine Falamar charming half naked wizard women) and the centaurs should do well with the Hippus
A new civ: The Arcane swords - a combination of Amurites (personal bias, they just have to be there), Sidar and Grigori. Basicly a civilization of stealthy warrior mages.
Amurites struggle for being powerful mages bent on research of the arcane. Sidar focus on combined power and non-interference and fight the undead. And Grigori focus on individual interest for the benefit of the whole...
This lore of theirs seems very close to each other to me.
Some of the modmods used the same mechanic that Hyborem has for Infernals - kill Hyborem and they loose their traits. Howabout having the Infernals have multiple heroes /or use the 4 riders/ that would each give one trait to them, and as you would kill them one by one, the infernals would get weaker, symbolizing their decreasing power in the world.
The mechanic with minor leaders seems superb to me. I would prefer there to be more fractions of some of the civs. E.g. Falamar would lead one fraction (good one, the Aliance of free people) of the lanun and Hannah, chaotic as she always was, would ally with the infernals (or maybe just having gone insane due to some old affair with Perpentach, now evil of course)...
So, Lore-Wizards, would Gyra enter creation to try to save her brother?
You should make the infernals have a hero unit for all the leaders in the Lord of the Balors sceanario.
They could have the 7 leaders as their heroes, but the dukes of hell would constantly be struggling for power. You cuold make the Infernal subject to 'revolutions'. Using Jean Eclards modmod they could randomly switch leaders, as well as have cities start themselves as new civs.
Gyra was much more compassionate than Basium. Once Basium tried to destroy the Sidar, but Gyra sstopped him and saved them from his wrath. She doesn't seem the kind to leave Arwan or go on a killing rampage. She could see taking her brother's place as the only way to save the world and make amends for the suffering her brother caused. She could feel guilty for not stopping his wars against the non-infernal nations he started.
Iède imagine a great number of heros available only through units.
Iède = I'd = I wouldwhat?![]()
but would the Infernals Care to rule over a people that aren't demons? wouldn't they rather Kill everyone and rule over their dead and corrupted souls?
