The Amazing Race: An Interactive Gameshow

Spoiler :

This sentence states that all 3 Warriors must be used to capture the Merchant. So, anyone that did not capture the Merchant using all 3 Warriors grouped together and attacking at the same time has technically failed the challenge.

Had this sentence said "use 1 of the 3 warriors given to 'capture' the merchant" then you would have been fine. So, I am afraid that technically, your game is disqualified.

Realistically, nearly everyone will have split up their Warriors, so all of the games will count, but I would not be surprised to see people "lose" a future round for failing to follow the instructions as stated.

Ideally, saying something like "Use one of your units to capture the Merchant; you have been provided with 3 Warriors to help with this task" might have been even better, because then someone could have still won had they built a 4th Warrior that made the capture (it's pretty tough to check for someone having done so, thus you might as well have a broad enough rule that allows it to happen).
Spoiler :
The sentence states that you can use all three warriors to capture the merchant. This means you are allowed to use these three warriors freely to do anything in order for the merchant to be captured. I do not interpret this as "all three warriors grouped together capture the merchant"

Spoiler :
I didn't break up my warriors, the spot on the map was revealed so I just took all three and right clicked on that general area, and let the turns fly by. :D

What? How was he revealed to you? Even if you happened to get a map from the hut, units would still not be visible.

@MoreEpicThanYou

I'm going to reveal this to the public, as I did Destruction and see no way you could cheat by looking at someone elses pics. Plus, I am very close to forfeiting.

If we all revealed our screen shots, those that played last would have an adantage after reading the thread. They could see which task had better times on average. They could look at the mini map in the lower, right-hand corner and deduce where things are on the map. I definitely think screen shots should be spoilered. Also, don't forfeit! There are two more tasks. You could ace them both (or even finish in the middle of the pack) and move on to the next round easily!!

Yoshi revealed the spot to us....

Yoshi revealed the spot to us....
Hmmm, he didn't reveal anything in the Destruction game, not even the target City. I had to hunt around a bit before I found it.

Also, facing multiple Hills-defending, Protective Archers when you are given 3 Warriors does not make for an easy challenge. ;)

For SamSniped's Eyes Only

Spoiler :

Not at all. I'm saying that if you had turned right instead of left or had the merchant been to the right, you would have had a much later date. I was just wondering why you kept the warriors together. I guess it's possible that we would have had to fight a battle to capture the merchant, in which case keeping them together would have been better...

Only for Mitchum's Eyes
Spoiler :
It was basic logic. I looked around for clues, saw there was a spot that didn't have fog over it, and saw it was near a coast so I went to the left and pretty much folllowed the coastline.

Spoiler :
And I thought I was being clever by splitting them up when in fact I missed the biggest clue of them all. Nicely done! :hatsoff:

Spoiler :
Well, I don't think that was a clue.
I think it's more like 'Let's add that Merchant.' Adds merchant. Oops, it's not Saladins, but ours! I'll fix that.' Removes merchant, puts an Arabian merchant in, forgetting he just revealed the tiles.
