Time for a brief magic carpet ride.

The first building is a Bazaar.

Did you change the grass? It looks a lot better. :)

No. Same grass. What I did different was to expand the ground plane to 600 by 600 to reduce the patchy effect.

Anyone have any specific requests?

A request: would you mind "upgrading" the 2 caravanserais you made? Perhaps just stick a few camels in front of the new Bazarre?

Best,

Oz

PS - aide memoir - here are pix of your last 2 ...

That Caravanserai was more specifically for South Asia and not the Middle East. I could make a Middle Eastern one if there's a need for one. I'm not sure how I can stick a camel in there as Bryce is not good at modelling organic things.

I could certainly use one for an epic mod encompassing the Silk Road. Anything suggesting what the building is would of course be ideal (although I'm not necessarily wedded to a camel :mischief: )

Best As Ever,

Oz

I could also use a mid eastern caravanserai if made. Another I feel we're missing is a Persian style court or audience Hall, called an apadana. The most famous of these are the ones at Persepolis and Susa, though smaller versions were by no means uncommon. They go way back to the Babylonian and Assyrian eras, but the same graphics could also be used for a number of later Arabian structures I believe. Any chance, or is this a little outside your timeframe? Some pics available from:

The garden is beautiful by the way, and much needed. :)

@Keroro: I'm not confining the timeframe strictly from the Umayyad Caliphate to the Ottoman Empire. If it's Middle Eastern, it counts. :) Presently, I'm modelling Burj al-Arab, which would be the first Modern building I've attempted to create. :D Originally, I was going to dothe Burj Dubai, but that thing is just too tall. :crazyeye:

@RedAlert: Bryce comes with a fairly nice set of tree models; they're not my creation. ;)

[I am considering doing the Blue Mosque, by the way. :p ]

Well, in that case an Ogedei insane version of the Ishtar Gate would be most interesting too. Whatever you do do will be fantastic anyway, you spoil us.

The Burj al-Arab will be very interesting to see, a bit of a departure. There's some tricky angles on that thing.
