The audio disappeared from a CD.

Odd issue:
Have an audio CD I burned in ImgBurn. No DRM. Worked fine for a few weeks. Today I put it in -- no sound, even though it was spinning and apparently playing. Changed the CD and it worked -- not the CD player or headphones. Don't have another CD player to test, so I put the CD in the computer -- appears as audio CD -- but no sound. Pipped a track off it, and its all blank.

Any idea what happened here? Never seen this sort of issue before, maybe when its fresh out of the drive but not two weeks later. There were no visible scratches or smudges on the CD. Google's no help, got a bunch of stuff about disappearing CD drives.

Did any scratches or smudges appeared on the CD?

Nope, don't see any even when I hold it up to the light. As well, the optical drive on my computer wasn't choking like it usually does with a scratched disc.
