The Best in Final Fantasy

Okay, based on the huge number of Final Fantasy's in the Top 5 best games. I've decided to make a thread that puts the Final Fantasy games against eachother. Although, I ended up making it multiple choice, because it's almost impossible to pick just one.

Edit: I tried to remember as many as possible, if I missed one. Well, don't blame me.

I would have figured (being an anime fan and all) that you would have played them all. I know it has nothing to do with anime, but usually they come as a pack.

Get out and buy 7-9, and if you really want to pay a MMORPG you can't go wrong with FFXI.

And with that said, Final Fantasy VII (7) is the best, the charecters, the storyline, the whole world of the game, all of those and a lot of other things make FF VII superior to other games of the FF series. And i've played a few off them.

Let's see, i've played FF I (In Japanese, so not much of the plot i could make out) FF VI, (While this one was good, it's nothing compared to VII) FF VII (Simply the best) FF VIII (This in Graphics looks better then FF VII, but good graphics don't make a good game.) And finally i've Played, a bit of FF IX. (Not enough to have really formed an opinion on it.)

FFVI and FFIV in that order hands down! (FFIX comes close, though). I've played a bit of FFIIj and FFIIIj, too. I've got the cartidges for the origanal famicom.

I just don't like FFVII much -- too many FMVs (FF8 was worse), and I sort of felt like I was being pushed through the game. Sadly though, those games, and FFXI being online only, turned me away from the series.

Haven't played FFX though, except for a few parts. My cousin has it.

Too bad Enix went under (again) and merged with Square. Probably means the Dragon Quest/Warrior games are gonna have chocobos running around in them now.

And besides the FF series is very very good. But each their own i guess.

I can kindoff agree with the most Overrated but Suckiest... no there are plenty of game series out there that deserve that title much more

I used to think that too, until I actually PLAYED an FF game. Im still a rabid Nintendo fanboy, but FF rocks as a series.

As for FF7, it is the single most overrated game ever. Not because its not good, just because of the crazy fanbase it has. I like FF9 alot better, the villain is cooler IMO (I know some disagree, OMG HES LOOKZ LIEKA GIRL TEE HEE, thats the main opinion I see in other forums...) and I just like it better. Maybe its the characters, I liked them better aswell.

But still, the best FF for me is Tactics. Awesome story, sooo much customization and its aloot harder than probably any of the Playstation FF's. Theres several battles that just make you pull your hair out, but you really have to think to beat them.
