Get the green units they are powerfl. Thay can tak a lot of damge to. I nevr lose once I get the green units! Trust me it works :P

I'm assuming that you're talking about armor, howitzer, marines, mech inf.?

YES I forgot what there called thank you. This stratgy is nown as Green Unit Stratgy or G.U.S. for short. forget about all that other stratgy. SSC ICS they are for rookies. ALL the masters knows about GUS!!

My Spies will buy your Greenies... with the cash from my Freights... and my Power Democracy will keep you from doing anything about it... see you on A.C...

[half relieved/half disappointed]
Oh, and I thought that we were in for another Zulu war.

My (silver) stealth fighters could destroy your green bombers just by looking at them! How would you plan to resort to the green strat if your civilisation is destroyed by rampaging crusaders many centuries before you even see a green unit?

OK i see your referring to black unit and silver unit statgys. IT DOSNOT WORK. Thier is only 2 silver and black units each! unless you countt boats. I dont build boats stay away from water. BOats are useless to xperienced players.

And the spies you must be kidding. And the powerful democracy to. thats a govenment not a unit silly. youll be lucky to get one black plane before i steamroll youre civ. HOW are you gonna fight with spies and freights!? you must be joking so i laugh at youre joke.

OK I forgot silver units have cannons to. But still green units are way more powrfl than canons. TO combat crusaders build other units first. Good point you made their. Look in your rulebook and see what works best against them.

YOu dont have to be green civ. It works with evry color. Just try it first before you critsize it. You will see. I don't understand your zulu war remark so i can't help you on that.

Spies work where raw power does not. A dozen spies, a dozen frieghts, and a dozen "green units" will destroy half of a large civ and feed the growth (rush-buying) of the armed forces for years. Used correctly of course.

Sigh...

Unless you're on the wrong continent...

The Freights get me the cash to buy your greenies with my vet Spies, and the bonus beakers to burn past you in techs. Then I buy your cities. You can't buy mine cause I'm in Power Democracy - a tech or two a turn, plus several thousand gold too...

That's what I think too. By the time the modern age comes, raw force just don't work anymore. Battle is better done with quick and clean strikes rather than butting heads. Bypass or bribe all enemy opposition and go after the cities with spies, howitzer, stealth fighters, and stealth bombers. Avoid all combat with the enemy until you're at the city gates.

I completely agree with Elephant. I'm a relatively new player, i've been playing for about 4 months now, and i'm playing most of my games on king. But ii've found that democracy and trade can be the best weapon in the game if used correctly. At first i was a fundamentalism and force man, but as the levels get tougher that just doesnt work. I'll take a Democracy with a strong economic base over a millitary powerhouse anyday.

I usually wage war on a moderate level until I get "green" units, and that's when I in maybe 10 years destroy the rest of the civs. Still in democracy:) Spies make things a lot easier too:D

Well, this "Green" strategy sounds silly, but I don't insult a strategy that works. But, really, what do you use in the first 75% of the game? As for boats, when there are multiple continents, naval power is essential. It's easy to gain superiority, and you can keep to yourself or lauch amphibious assaults at will.

My naval strategy is to use BB's to bombard ground units on unprotected terrain to draw off defending units from my invasion site. I use other ships to cover the BB's and stack the BB's with AEGIS and subs. AEGIS for air protection and sub for powerful close attacks on ships that have breached my defenses and use their cruise missiles to scout on enemy troop movements.

i'm closing this cause it was started as spam. Here's your warning ArmorAttack
