This was tough.

I like panzers. Love the things.

Minutemen upgraded to mech. very very sweet.
B17 -> Stealths. Fast upgrades. Better than nukes in that they are reusable.

I'll stay with swarms of panzers though.

I like the concept of the Janissary, and like the idea of cheap pikemen via landsneckt, but the praets are my babies. the ballistas just sweeten an already rich cake.

Besides even without the unique units, the UA for Rome is fantastic! screw Barb conversions or Bushido, Rome's production bonus is useful both outside and inside war, and makes me beg for coastline starts.

Chu-Ko-Nu, do enough attacks to get march, then upgrade to rifles/infantry/mechs. You don't get the bonus in open for the upgrades, but 2 attacks and march on a mech is pretty awesome.
