Wow thanks m8! They are more than welcome :D
Will you only stick to pre-1945 units or also post-wwII ships?

Well when I original started this whole ship thing I never thought of going beyond the 1920's. Than Ares got me interested in doing stuff up to 1945. So you never know. I would like to stick with 1890's-1945 for awhile because that is an area I know well enough plus I have lots of models for it. The modern stuff is hard to model and I lack a lot of information on it.

Then a humble suggestion / request. My own personal Epic mod goes to 2100 CE. We have literally a couple of ships from Wyrmshadow and some subs from BeBro that sort of fit. If the mood moves you, perhaps "invent" something along those lines ... ?

Dammit Oz you got me thinking! ;) I was waiting for the N3 to do some stuff in Bryce so I was poking around and I read something interesting about the Iowa and Wisconsin. Not being American I do not really follow these issues but can anyone tell me if it is true that those two battleships could be recalled to active service even though they are museum ships. I looked it up but it was a little vague. But might be interesting to do a what-if further modernization on them someday (not anytime soon) if it is true they could be returned to active service.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reserve_fleet - &:

"Iowa was decommissioned for the last time in 1990, and was initially struck from the Naval Vessel Register in 1995. She was reinstated from 1999 to 2006 to comply with federal laws that required retention and maintenance of two Iowa-class battleships. In 2011, Iowa was donated to the Los Angeles-based non-profit Pacific Battleship Center and will be permanently moved to the Port of Los Angeles to serve as a museum and memorial to battleships."

-- Close enough for jazz and government work, and "what-ifs," hm??
