@ Ekmek; I am going to attempt to finish up Stambolov tonight, but before I waste my time for no reason I have a question. The suit you have in your LH pack, that should be properly textured and everything right? I don't want to go through all the trouble of redoing all of his medals and stuff just to find out it didn't work.

Cuz I also have to whip up a Kekkonen as well.
 
Alright here's my Kekkonen preview. I think I am going to change the shirt from yellow to white, and I think I'll retexture the tie. I'm probably going to do away with the little hair he has, I just didn't want to make him completely bald at first but I probably will. I think I'm going to try and make him look a little older too, maybe add wrinkles and lighten his skin up. I need to figure out how to change the glasses though. I'll try out what MO said, hopefully that works.

It's not looking bad. I'm sure he'll look much better soon, though.
 
Alright, I think this is as far as I am going to go with editing Kekkonen at this point. Because I still have to make Stambolov and honestly I think this is as good as I am going to get it. So hopefully you guys are happy with this, I would still like to get the glasses to look more clear but I haven't quite figured that out yet. That's probably the only thing that is going to change.

I think he's good too. A good addition for an Iron Curtain scenario, and another Scandinavian leader as well. You've single-handedly rounded out the Vikings to three leaders ranging across history (Rangar, Gustav, and Kekkonen).
 
Excuse me, but Kekkonen is not Scandinavian! Finns are more related to Hungarians than to Swedes or Danes.
 
Hmm, whenever I've tried to get it to work in game the game crashes. I wonder why that is.

Yeah Madman is right, Finns aren't Scandinavian. Scandinavia is Norway, Sweden and Denmark IIRC.
 
Technically, yes. But this is Civ, where nations and ethnicities get blended in odd ways. Using only the BtS default countries, I'd put them in with the Vikings over the Germans or Dutch.

I'd add Iceland to the list. Scandinavians inhabit it nowadays.

Actually, Finns may be more related to Irish people than Swedish people. How do you explain Tarja Halonen and her resemblance to Conan O'Brien? ;)
 
Alright, well let's have this discussion somewhere else. Anyway, here are some screenshots from Kekkonen in game. I went with the default Churchill animations just to see what they'd look like and I think they are pretty good for Kekkonen actually. The one issue is the greeting with the top hat. How can I remove that? Another thing is the blue lighting that seems to be on the side of his face. I am also wondering if there is a way to get the lenses on his glasses to look more clear but still have the glare on them? Any other suggeestions or thoughts would be appreciated.

EDIT: And of course I'll be changing the background.
 
Use another animation as a greeting. Napoleon's greeting for example.
 
What do I do? Just move Napoleon's greeting into the folder and rename it for churchill?

And does anyone know if there is a way to change the glasses to be more clear? I messed with the material property but my options are black white and grey.
