The Dual Alliance

Spain is at war with three nations again: Arabia, Carthage and Korea!

Arabian forces inside Spain were wreaking havoc with Spanish food supplies. When the Spanish government asked the Arabic forces to leave Spain, Arabia declared war! Spain shelled Arabian forces near Eridu and Carthage declared war on Spain. Arabia then coerced the Koreans into an alliance against Spain. Spain ancient friends across the water, the Celts, have come to Spain's aid. :)

Spain has built a great dam to bring power to Spanish factories. Wall St. And the SIA (Spanish Intelligence Agency) were also recently built. Spain only awaits the perfection of a new technology before unleashing it's war making machine.

Here is the current situation near Eridu where 10 Arabian bombers are based.

Celts - Turn 192

The Empire of the Celts had answered our ancient Spanish allies' call for a stand against the forces of chaos. We began to build a mighty fleet of battleships and a bigger army of infantry and tanks to answer that call.

The Army and Navy of the Empire had mobilized and at march. :hammer: Let them come. :mwaha:

Celts - Turn 194

First tanks being airlifted to Provincia Korea. However Nampo had fallen, before we can 'test' these fearsome new tactical formations in live trials... :mischief: We lost 4 cavalry though - but we're in the phase of phasing out our cavalry forces anyway. :)

Another force of 6 cavalry is enroute to help taking out Eridu, where Arabic bombers are wrecking havoc on the luxury supplies fr our Spanish allies.

3 turns to fission.

Don't mind the Celtic warships roaming around, outside Arab City. :)

More battleships (4 at last count) being built; tanks being churned out by 2 per turn.

Now producing 3 tanks per turn. Only 1 new battleship being built in our shipyards - the rest are busy building remaining city improvements.

1 turn to fission.

Spain - turn 196.

Babylon River and North Coast City barely repel Carthaginian cavalry attacks. Eridu must be taken to eliminate those Arabic bombing raids! Spanish tanks advancing through the hills and being met by Arabic guerillas. Arabic fleet heads home after being shelled once more by Spanish Artillery.

Spain - turn 198:

Spanish battleship sinks another Arabian ship in the south as Spanish artillery continue to shell Arabian ships off the Spanish coast.
Eight tank units are set to attack Eridu next turn. :) A little progress is made in repairing the roads and rails to the north. Enough irrigation repair projects are completed so that food shortages are eliminated..

Destroyers of the Celtic Navy sank two Arabian battleships off our shores, with help from the artillery corps. :D

The evil Carthaginians had sneak attacked our forces. Carthage shalt burned for this! :flamedevi

A new Arabian battleship sank our heroic destroyer off the west coast of the Western Realm. Our two battleships en route to Provincia Korea had been redeployed to this area.

In the Celtic Straits, sank a couple of Arabian-Carthaginian ships...

Celts - Turn 202

Hyangsan held... :)

Arabs are building SETI. We planted a spy in Arabia, and then conducted a city investigation. They would complete it in 12 turns; we could in 8. :mischief: Unless, our Spanish allies want to give it a go...

We sent rocketry and coal to Spain. The Celts wonder if Spain can resume the missing luxury export to us...

UN in 3 turns...

Game will be emailed.

We have planted a spy in Carthage as well. Per se are the latest military information collected by our spies in Arabia and Carthage, and compared with our own forces (which are now considered 'weak')... The Arabs have 3 carriers!
