Don't have a webcam, but have an ethnicity, so anyway. I'm probably 3/4s Russian and 1/4 Jewish, but the problem is that my Russian part is also to some degree divided between Russian, Polish and Lithuanian.

Anybody with knowledge of East European history knows that most of the times when a Russian, a Jew, a Pole and a Lithuanian meet... well, it means trouble.

Or on a more direct note, my last name is Adamow/Adamov. But my mother's last name is Shubin(a) (a Jewish last name). And my grandfather's last name is Wilenskij, which is PROBABLY Polish.

As for me, I am (as far as I know) 100% Russian with maybe some Balkan distant relatives.... my family however comes from all over Russia from the far East to Ukraine. And no I will not post a pic of me - thats against my internet code .

That's ridicilious. You might just as well have a real-life code that demands you to wear a paper bag on your head whenever you leave your house. There are just as many crazy people out in the real life as there are in the internet. But for some reason communicating through a computer seems to bring up paranoia in some people..

I did not mean it in 100% way. I just meant that I do not know anyone in my family (through blood) who is not Russian. As far as being a Russian goes - you know better than most here what sort of blood we have. Or rather what we dont have .

Its mostly a mix of Tatar, Slavic and Viking, though I suspect that there are also oh Khazars, Turks, Jews, Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians, Finns, Ossetians, Chukchas, Korsaks, Poles, Romanians, Uralics, Volga Bulgars, etc, etc, etc...

Exactly.... you are forgetting Germans, Italians, French (few of the last 2), Mongols, Tatars, Greeks. Could consider Ukranians and Byelorussians, but they are different nations. But I think the picture is clear - vermut .

That said, one might also add that us Russians have it easy; most modern Greeks are actually Slavs who THINK they're Greeks, and most modern Turks are actually Hittites and Greeks who THINK they're Turks.
