The FINAL Hex Poster Contest!!!

Ok, I'll try this out

My guess on your favorite shows:

1. Heroes - can you dislike this show?
2. Simpsons
3. Futurama
4. Band of Brothers
5. M*A*S*H

1. monty python's flying circus
2. how i met your mother
3. married... with children
4. dragonball/dragonball z (but not gt...)
5. knight rider :)

edit1: changed lost to dragonball to minimize chances of winning
edit2: changed sopranos to flying circus

I was planning on posting this earlier, but got swamped at work. I'm still at work too.

The First Contest is closed.

Here's my five shows...

5. Young Indiana Jones Chronicles - This is the one I thought no-one would guess, because it had a very short run, and it was on over 15 years ago. The episodes where Indy was on the front lines during WWI were excellent.

Kudos for King Khan for nailing this one. Three lotto tickets for him...

4. Babylon 5 - I liked Star Trek, the Next Gen, but the overall story arc in B5 was much better. Ironically, I never watched B5 until it went into syndication, then I watched the whole series in sequence every night it was on - even adjusting my schedule so I wouldn't miss an episode.

3. The Simpsons - Yeah, the new episodes are tired, but the series has had a great run. Best episodes...'The Cartridge Family'. Best Halloween episode... 'Citizen Kang'.

My sig should have given this one away.

2. Battlestar Galatica (Sci-Fi) - Hands down, the best sci-fi TV series ever. When Sci-Fi went digital in the Chicago area during season 2, I had a coronary because I was not going to pay an additional $40 a month just to watch the show. And I knew that it was coming out on DVDs, and I could watch it on my own time and my own pace. Plus the picture quality is better on a DVD vs a signal from a cable company.

Currently awaiting Season 3 to be released on DVD...

1. The Office (US) - I have consistently had at least one major gut-busting laugh for every episode, without fail. No series can claim that. My entire family is nuts about this show.

Missing the cut was Seinfeld, Cheers, Night Court, The Wonder Years, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and Newhart.

If Firefly had lasted, it may have made the cut. Serenity made me go out and get the DVDs of the show.

Heroes is something that may grow on me. My wife and daughter watch it - unfortunately I feel like I'm lost now because I didn't pay attention to it last season.

Looking forward to seeing Rome on DVD some day.

And the winner is...
zxcbnm

Ironically he listed only one show too. Go figure.

He has to send me a PM with a mailing address.

Thus ends Contest 1. Contest 2 will be posted shortly in a new thread, to make tracking easier.

OK, this is strange...

zxcbnm emailed me declining the prize because he only gave one answer, and thought it was not fair to the other entrants. So he asked me to redraw the contest.

Some entrants took five guesses and got none right.

So the new winner is
Rondo

PM me your mailing address.

I felt that because there were some who get far more right answers they deserve it better.

hehe, I almost put down Cheers and Rome, but dropped them in favor of Heroes and Highlander.
Glad I got the Young Indiana Jones right, I was actually pretty confident of that one.
