For the first time ever, I just finished two wonders on the same turn. They also just happened to both be Great prophet wonders, and the two earliest ones. I finished the oracle in my capitol which has tons of food. I combined whipping(which I did wrong) and chopping(which I could have done better). When I noticed that my production city(which started on the henge later and is my second and only other city at this point) had 1 more turn than the capitol to finish building. I also noticed that there was a plains forest off in the corner. The forest died, the camera zoomed out(from the henge), I got the tech list(from the oracle), then the oracle movie played, and then the henge movie played. Shouldn't the camera have zoomed out after the techs? Anyways, now I am in a very interesting position. I have two cities with 2 GPP/turn towards prophets with 98 left in each. Does anyone know what will happen? I am not, of course, hoping that I get two prophets, that would be cheating :mischief:

When both of your cities will reach 100 GP points, then a GP will appear in your capital (or in a city you have established earlier), and the other city needs 200 GP to have a GP. That's why I do the following: if two of my cities close to have a GP, then I look which of them could give me better one, and add or take away specialists.

You were right, but either one would have been a prophet, a prophet which I used on my first civil service slingshot! Or at least I think so...

Chtulhu? Shub-Niggurath?

In this situation the wisest thing you can do is to count which of them will have more GP/turn in the future. For example, if both city has 70 GP, and your capitol finished Parthenon, you should add a specialist to the other city for a while, because this city wouldn't give you any specialist for a long time, while the other will easily reach 200GP.

This was a LONG time ago now, but I'd just like to add that my capitol did actually finish the Parthenon two turns after the prophet popped.
