Hey everyone! I decided on running this Quizzathon thing here in the WH thread so we can learn some new awesome things in history, and just to have fun in general. Here are the rules:
1. I will post a anecdote about a specific historical figure, event, war, etc... Your objective is to guess the answer without using Google.
2. The person who gets the first correct answer will then post a similar anecdote and see if people are able to answer that question.
3. These are meant to be lesser-known anecdotes about relatively well-known historical figures, so please don't have the answer be the 13th Doge of Naples or whatever.
I'll start
Who am I? In order to infuriate an advisor whom I loathed, I named my Irish Setter "Milord." Whenever that advisor said "Milord," he was actually speaking to the dog. I also used the word "bingerle" as a code word for sex when talking to the lovely ladies at court.
