On the topic of the sea wall, the Prime Minister of Xox Xooklia has stated that he cautiously supports its deweaponizing and says that it is of course, up to the Republic to decide.

The Sea-Wall exists to ensure the Republic will survive in the event of a mass holocaust, pandemic etc. It has by mathematically proven that the defences of the Sea-Wall provide a twenty mile zone in which any incoming ICBM can be shot down at a safe level. We actually to very little maintenance and it been around for several hundred years. Unlike the rest of our extremely advanced technology it has not yet become a decay cycle and some say it might have been planned or built by the true Plato himself.

We also know the production of the EM wave infra-red is almost 100% efficient and lasers are ok for efficiency terms too. Sound is obviously 100% efficient or there abouts. We also generate more than enough power thank you as its full capabilities have not been used in decades and the capacitors are at full charge and are charged, in times of peace, by solar and wave power sources.
Selachima is in favor of building the ISS. However, the Sea-Wall falls within Republican territorial waters. Any attempt by a foreign power to force the dismantlement of the Sea-Wall counts as a breach of national sovereignty.
Recent mineral exploration in the Cartil Plateau and in Finland in Selachima has discovered vast, untapped mineral deposits. There is no need to tear down the Wall for materials, as it is estimated by our expert geologists that there's enough minerals in the Finland region alone to build a hugazillion ISSes.
We nevertheless send a friendly message to the Republic that the Sea-Wall can be seen by some people as a symbol of that country's perceived or real xenophobia and is bad foreign PR for the Republic.

We don't know how it works. We have been in isolation for hundreds of years and it was only around thirty years ago we realised the threat we had been created to survive, a mass pandemic of epic proportions, had either not occurred or had past. We seem to be unable to percieve the Forms of the Wall's constituent materials and most of its weaponry, much of the so-called upgrading is in fact the downgrading of parts to the next closest thing, we at least know how to connect stuff to the capacitors. The production of EM raditation has been known about for decades/hundreds of years (OOC what date is it? OOC), same about solar and wave power. We did not say no effort obviously when a full scale assault is launched on the Wall there is a significant power drain on the capacitors and then the island's power grid and, eventually after several hours, it will just shut down, allowing an aerial breach and no we don't know why the Founder ordered us into isolation. Happy now? We also offer three free Forms to your nation and four for every other nation for the sake of regional peace. Please do not attempt to access the weaponry and defence rooms. Such an action will result in the Guard shooting you with lethal force without warning."
OOC: A sixty foot high, twenty foot wide wall isn't that massive really. Its just big enough and strong enough to stop missiles or ships from breaking through it easily.

I would guess several hundred miles.
If the Republic does not wish to tear down the wall, perhaps they could simply make a gate and allow us in?

Trichomedia still objects to the last provision in the Treaty of Scaevola. It is possible that there may be two troublemakers, or a troublemaker and an ally that would not want to see them banned. Trichomedia proposes a large majority instead, say, 75%?

Selachiman forces in TGK have handed power over to the Constitutional forces and are beginning to return home. We suggest all other Allied forces follow suit and ensure a smooth transition to the authority of the TGK.

The rise of the Island of Steampunkeria
Steam is what drives the nation of Steampunkeria. Everything advanced is derived from steam power in some way. From steam powered airships to steam powered sentry turrets, Stemapunkeria uses it in great amounts.
Steampunkeria is a large island, but not all of it has been taken over. Cities are actually quite small, but with tall structures, making them very intimidating to walk through if on the ground level. Pollution is rife in some of the larger cities, but efforts have been made to clear it or end it elsewhere (mostly giant steam powered fans to blow it towards the ocean)
The central islands are highly pollution free. This is where the leader (King Stine Illsgrey) and his advisors order and rule from in their luxury palaces. The islands themselves are not natural formations, they had been constructed as prisons by a previously misogynist ruler who was overthrown by the current King and refitted as pollution-free havens for the ruling class, and for a good game of golf.
Why hasn't Steampunkeria been noticed for all this time? Who knows, but now they are here and they are here to open diplomatic relations with anyone willing. Or something.

The Republic would like to confirm its continuing existence. There seems to be some kind of malfunction across all the satellites of the world at the moment. The blue thing does not exist. The Sea-Wall is open and we are currently trying to get you all inside to talk about international law and wars. In other words when the Banhammer may be deployed. I take it no-one accepts our offer?
We have fixed the spacial error in the satellite imaging. You should know all see the clone West Teklneronus where the old Teklneronus was. A new tiny white island has been revealed to our north. How very interesting? Or it another error? Can we be sure about anything in life? Oh I hate being a Philosopher King at times.

London has a population of over 7.5 million or 7,556,900 to be precise. That means the wall would have to be not a lot bigger than a wall round London and London has an area, in sq miles, of 659. The diameter of London is, roughly, 35 miles. The island of the Republic is not as wide as London and it is roughly 25-30 miles in diameter. The wall would be the equivalent to a wall round London and therefore doable. This probably means I need to shrink the Republic down to the size of a pixel or something but still there you go.

Steampunkeria apologises for inadvertently sending pollution to Selachima (or are we? (no really, we're not (or am I!?))) and advises that you set up your own fans to blow the pollution elsewhere. At least we're caring for the environment.

Oh and we extend our offer of four free Forms to the Steampunkerians as well. Maybe five seeing as they are such a new nation. The offer of free Republican technology ends in exactly 24 hours, real time, from this post. Excellent now I've got three nations willing to discuss international law. Shall we decide it all for the rest of the world Selachima, Steanpunkeria or shall we wait to see if some others turn up as well?
