The Journey of a Thousand Fails Begins With a Single Deity Game

Update Time. Wheeee.

What? Photoshopped? As if!

Now, you may have noticed I am a bit unspirited today (Is that even a word?). Normally, I have a bright and cheery demeanor.

Bright and Cheery.

The reason for this is 'cause that war I started is taking *&@#ING FOREVER to finish. My most recent playthrough had me ending barley better off than when I stated. Also, I think my people are going insane due to radiation poisoning, and the apparent fact that a grassy field can become a desert in 1 year.

And maybe my Mechanized Infantry Divisions being destroyed by Paratroopers had something to do with it.

The Egyptians Demonstrate their Congolese-like fighting skills.

Eventually though, I captured another Celtic city. After Jewening it with a real name (Sheva), I set my sights on the next one down on the particularly snaky continent I was invading.

I also learned a valuble lesson from this invasion: Never guard your transport stack with Steath Destroyers .

This invasion left me with control of roughly half the island. Mansa, meanwhile, attacked Boudica's main landmass, in what history books tragically describe as "The most Pregnant amphibious assault in Mali history".

Moar Nukes pl0x.

Yep, we're going insane.

Meanwhile, back at home, people had more or less forgotten that thier was a war being waged. The average intelligence had stooped to about 70 IQ points (though tests sometimes measured as much as 200 when Geiger counters were used). The biggest news at the time was that Duke Nukem Forever was released, and it was HORRIBLE . Because of the media backlash, the Egyptian government changed their capital's name to that of something more appealing to the people.

We made a nuke :3

That's it for now, with the exeption of the "Question of the Update" (QotU):

What does the new Capital's name represent?

As always, whoever figures it out first gets a cookie.

As for the last QotU, which remains unresolved, Kate and Donny Vermillion are the news reporters in Starcraft 2. Donny gradually goes insane over the course of the game and Kate is known for not knowing when to shut up.

Its a refernce to the new game, Alice: Madness Returns, a game of the same series, correct?

Edit: And I did not use google.

That's quite some cookie :D

 sand world

A idea that circulated among the scientific community in Egypt was that deserts were increasing in size, due to the fact that now over half the planet was desert. This was promptly dismissed by the "actual" community, citing Egypt's proud spiritual texts:
"As you know, Global Warming is a complete myth :mischief:" So says the book of Nyancat, dismissing the heretical idea that several hundred nuclear explosions could have a negative impact on the environment.

So, this "Sand World" has always been here. Now enjoy your cats and cheeseburgers. ;)

Ah, '07. Will never forget that year.

Yep, it is.

The last update was a long time ago, and since copac is probably not going to update this unless i bump this:
