The lack of a unique model for a unique unit from Great Britain is an embarrassment.

Someone at Firaxis needs to be informed that pushing back a deadline is not going to trigger Ragnarok.
 
By the way, is that abomination supposed to be the Battersea Power Station? :D

I saw it like 2 minutes after it was posted and it was worded worse, something like "the dev team is jamming away on a update for the model"

Just from an appearances standpoint, releasing a DLC less than a month after release looks bad and is going to upset gamers in this modern environment. This DLC should have been delayed just for appearances, if not for development reasons too.

Just another unforced error from Firaxis/2K for a game that really can’t afford it.
 
Guys, let's drink a cup of tea and relax, I know what really happened. The Antiquarians unearthed and brought to England so many artifacts from the lands of foreign civilizations that Britain had to lend them the Royal Navy's ships as compensation for some time, so all is good. :lol:

Nobody mentioned this, but Carthage feels unfinished too. The Colonist reuses Greco-Roman assets from city-states instead of using unique art. The Numidian Cavalry carries inaccurate shields belonging to the Medjay. If you consider that Carthage already uses Greco-Roman art assets for buildings and units, then more care was expected for the civilization's uniques.

Early Access?! Not officially. This is a fully released and very expensive game.

As fun as the gameplay appears to be, the backlash is correct.
 
This is properly the straw that breaks the camels back for me.

How utterly embarrassing and unprofessional and money grubbing and rushed this studio has become.

I've been holding out hope this game could be good at a big discount with dozens more civs, but I just refuse to tolerate the bags of tripe we're being served up with this game. I don't know where the quality assurance has gone at firaxis but they desperately need to shore that up.

In the meantime, I'm just sad that Civ isn't Civ anymore, and now firaxis aren't seemingly even firaxis anymore. This is Ubisoft level rubbish. I have exactly 0 faith left in this studio.

Honestly if it was free DLC i can sort of understand. But we are being told to spend $40CAD for unfinished models?

Gonna vote with my dollars on this one. Not buying it until there is a sale and it’s properly made, something in management is clearly screwed up.

Big shame because I actually like the gameplay on a general basis. There is a lot of things fun about it.
