What are the things that annoy you? Please don't include AI, or something that's considered "big". Just the minor irritating stuff.

For example, I hate seeing my scout getting promoted due to Ancient Ruins to Archer. It's so unnecessary, at least he retains his terrain ignore thing.

Diplomatic Victory, It's so easy and dull (I hope it's done differently in G&K)

Cultural Victory, I just don't think it should focus on small empires (you can win with larger empire, but it's really difficult and silly, especially on harder difficulties)

The "Cloudy" Fog of War, thank god it's toggable I completely turned it off, why can't we stick to ye olde black fog of war?

Unstackable Civilian Units (especailly in cities) - Don't you find it annoying you can't stack them? Especially when you automate your workers and find out one of them decided to stick to your capital whilst you build a wonder (and wanna rush it with Engineer) or you can't because spaceship part is in it.

I agree very much with the OP on Diplomatic Victory and 1UPT civilians. The other things you mentioned don't bother me.

What really drives me insane is the time lag on the 'next turn' button. I move a unit, and it still says 'a unit needs orders' or whatever, so I click it to move the next unit and just as I click it, it changes to 'End Turn' ARGH!

I agree, I've noticed that if I give "move there" that takes more than 1 turn, when I click next Turn it begins to perform lagging the actual End Turn.

I don't know what difficulty you play on but when my scout turns into an archer that's one of the best options. By having it turn into a archer it improves its defense so barbs cant kill it as easily and it is great to defend early wars.

As for something I dislike I would have to say the lack of early iron. Half the time I cant find any good iron deposits within a reasonable distance from my capital.

when i try to steal a worker from a cs and i use an archer, the archer attacks the worker, not capture it. then i realize its a wasted DoW on the CS and a ruined diplomatic effort to boot. btw, that is usually a scout who got a hut promo and i forget that its now an archer (which i love, btw). the warrior-to-spearman hut make me mad, but the scout-archer one is great, imo.

I hate when I set my scout to Explore and instead of exploring a rival's open borders or unexplored land, he makes a horizontal dash across the ocean on a Pangaea map.

If you select the "move" button and use the arrow keys, you can get an archer to capture a worker rather than shoot at it....

why can't you found a city within 4 squares of another city?!
it drives me insane!

yeah, ive since learned that. it really only happens with the scout who became an archer because im not paying attention. its even funnier because in general if i was at war with a civ i couldnt 1-click attack it anyway, not for embarked units or civilians. but CS workers? murder away, ruthless Civ, murder away! haha. oh well.

Whell the fact that info addict isn't included in the vanilla game each time a leader ask for declaration of friendship I have to guess or remember who denounced them

Oh but one thing that enoys me the most is the broken unballanced game mechanics like research agreements, great scientist abuse and the overpowerd stealth bombers those things are obiously broken
