The Medieval European Mod

Good grief Yoda Power how I feel for you with all that work being lost.

Are you sure that a tool like...

Easy Recovery Pro

Could not help in your situation...?

Best of luck to you and hope that things improve.

Morgan

Im 99% sure its too late to save the files.

BTW I will start a new scenario project, The Persian Empire, when my computer is working again.

I second calgacus' statement...what a shame. Tis' one of the best mods ever. You should reconsider. You definitely have fan support on this mod as the lengthy threads indicate. Will you not reconsider?

I'm sure Yoda would be disappointed with you...

PS Noticed an error with the dromon not facing the right way when it attacks. Perhaps you've already noticed.

Yoda if you get a new computer will you maybe start working agian on MEM?

Porphyrogenitos and Coke Cola-I have made my decision for now, personly I hope someone experienced will continue the mod. If not I might reconsidder when the Persian Empire scenario is finish, but dont get your hopes up.

It'd be a shame if you dropped it. :( You've still got loads of time to reconsider though. :)

If you don't, then maybe you could ask Thamis, since they're similar mods and you both seem to have similar skills. :goodjob:

I dont want to ask anybody, if someone want to continue they have to ask me, that way no one are "pushed" into anything.

Also I highly doubt Thamis is interestet in continueing this mod.

Hi everyone,

first of all: thumbs up: great work!!!

After playing a couple of hours, I stopped just now, after checking AI cities. They did not build anything!! Just some wonders, but no improvements whatsoever.

How can I fix this? I really loved playing the MOD so far, but it is not much of a challenge if AI does not connect to resources and does not build anything in his cities.

So if I can fix this, please let me know, I'd be happy to play it again...

So im sorry folks, it looks like this mod is not getting anymore updates from me. I might let someone interestet continue the work, but only someone who I know from the community, and only if he has experience with making mods/scenarios.

A real shame. I really enjoyed this mod, but I can understand how frustrating it is when your computer loses all the work you've done already.

Thanks for all the work you have done on the MEM, lots of us really loved it and I am one of the many who are looking forward to the Persian mod. ;)

parachute4u-This havent been reportet, and I havent seen it before, so I cant really help you:(

R8XFT-Thanks:)

Well What happend is when u reach a population of 10, the game ask you if you want to make the palace so you can grow more than 10, so if u build the palace it works.
It is strange cos u can build it before u have even discovered alchimy, so u have towns timited to 5 and town growing to more than 10. In your tech tree it says you need water supplies, does anyone has this bug too?

I download you last version, from here

Hello

I let you know what happend to me in MEM, i have downloaded the version from here.
Si when i reach a pop of 10 in a town, it ask if i want to make the palce, if i maje the palace the pop can go up , it says it's the real palace, but the effect is like your water supplies.
It is strange because this is happening even before alchimy, so u have towns limited to 5, and towns growing to more than 10.

Does anyone experienced this too?

I know about this bug, to change it go to the editor->city improvements->palace and set the palaces prequest to Royal Residence. That will fix the bug, though you have to start a new game to get the fix.

Where do i find this file exactly?

ANother thing i notice in this Governement, is that your civlopedia says it has a police limit of 4, in fact it's one.
So i don't really seen the advantage of going from monarchy to feudal Monarchy, since it's just a worker advantage then

I have solved your palace problems, but i found another one, i can't move the templar and the hospitalet on the map,
is there something to Edit too?

I think your palace it'(s quite broken, because you can have your capital growing up to 32 and more, much before the other towns, is that intentionnal?

Sorry I dont understand the question:confused:

Yes thats intentional. The capitals in the middle age were usually big power centers and much bigger than the rest of the cities. Examples: Contsantinople, Venice, Paris etc.

I mean when i want to move my knights i can't, the don't want to go out from the town, the are immobile.
There is no path showing, or nothing avalaible to make them move.
It's the same for hospitalet..
It's quite embarassing they stay in the city that they produce them.

You didn' answer for feudalist governement too, what is the police limit ?
