The niggling things

I don't know what it is but Sweden hates my guts. Kristina will march across whole continents just to go to war with me every time I see her.

I've actually found Sweden to be weirdly aggro in general. Like, every game I see them involved in they're declaring a lot of wars, both on me and others.

Honestly, it really annoys when leaders like Robert the Bruce, Poundmaker and Gandhi wage aggressive wars. Goes against both their real history and their leader agendas. Definitely needs some work at some point, even if only in Civ7.

I’d rather AI was random on who they declared war on. I get people want an idea of what kind of civ your going against, but I like randomness.

I miss civ 5’s random personality checkbox :)

i wish world congress votes that don't involve you weren't so intrusive - two mandatory popups that have you do nothing

I wish that a cabal of people I have never meant didn’t have the power to decide that my luxury resources are now worthless

Or my border won’t expand

Or I can’t build oil power plants

This has got to be the worst game mechanic I have ever seen, and I mean I played Overwatch for years

I'll shout it from every mountaintop until it is implemented:

PUT A MAX BUTTON FOR EACH TRADEABLE RESOURCE IN THE TRADE SCREEN!!! You shouldn't have to spend an eternity clicking and calculating how much gold or GPT the AI will give you for open borders or a resource. Allow me to pick the resource I want, click a button and trade for the max that the AI will trade. If I want more I have to add more resources. BOOM! Trading is now fun and easy instead of a nightmare.

HOW IS THERE NOT AN UNDO BUTTON

I can't count how many times I've reloaded my same-turn autosave because I clicked the wrong tile with a builder

Something that annoys me which may require a lot of district rebalancing to fix is how your start location is so dependant on mountains. Want good holy site adajacency? Mountains. Want a good campus? Mountains (mostly, anyway). Mountains are OP, and since you generally don't make your cities that tall in this game anyway, you don't mind that there are a few unworkable tiles nearby.

Ya one or the other district should get bonuses from something else

Maybe woods just to balance out Always Chop syndrome

Another niggling thing: after you've won the game and you see the graph showing each civ's progress over the game the science & culture charts show how much science/culture per turn you are bringing in. The gold chart shows the total amount sitting in your treasury. The gold chart is all sharp peaks & valleys and not much use to look at. I wish it showed gold per turn instead.

Something I just noticed is that Anshan's suzerain bonus (+2 science to great writings, +1 scienec to relics and artifacts) doesn't effect heroic relics. Other things are updated to include heroic relics (like Poland and Kongo's ability), so I think this should too.

I miss the Wonder movies. The new all-in-game-graphics version isn't bad, but it's nowhere near as good as the old implementation.

And where's the replay option on the victory screen? It used to be entertaining watching the world map replay from 4000BC to the end as cities came and went. It was a nice reminder of your expansion campaigns.

She has her father's sprit on her.

Errm her father was Gustavus adolphus.
