I haven't yet checked, but I assume you already own a Large House, or better? If not, you'll need to build one. Plus, 400 gold for the investiture.

I can mark you as a Knight at Large, unless you are affiliated with an order tha confers Knighthood (i.e., the Jedis) or are sponsored by another (Shaitan has the Knights of Vanir, Disorganizer the Knights of Lancre, etc.).

@SAaM: Your titles have been updated. Don't forget that your "Duke" is only temporary, and goes away if you are ever voted out of office. You might want to take steps to make it permanent. Of Course, that'll cost 800 gold and requires you to have 12 contiguous tiles ...

Well, I have recently been elected Govenor of the North Provance . I have 3 land tiles so that would mean that I would be the Archduke of Ankh Morpork, Please let me know If I need anything elts to get the title of Archduke .

Well, CG, the key thing for you to be Archduke is to have 18 contiguous tiles, not 3. If you read the fine print, that's 3 times the number of active provinces (6), not just 3.

You also need a Castle (at least) and must pay an investiture fee of 1000g.

The investiture fee for something as grand as archduke is preferred to be paid out to the populace directly, via a tournament, or something like that, that causes you to spend the equivalent amount in our many shops and as purses for winners, and so on. Of course, you can always just pay the fee here, and it will be disbursed to the citizens as straight cash.

If you would like, I can update your "at large" entry to be "Count of Ankh Morpork" for no charge.

You can also hold a temporary Duke/Earl title as Governor, without paying any fees or anyother consideration. As it would be a temporary title, if you ever lose your position, you would revert to your "Count" title.

Well, I updated your "Count" title to include "of Ankh Morpork".

I have a problem with your Ducal title, though. BCLG is already the "Duke of Ankh Morpork" (also by appointment). I cannot in good conscience provide the same title to two nobles. I can make you the "Earl of Ankh Morpork", with the same pay and benefits, or you can have a different Ducal title.
