Thank you, Rocoteh. It is always a pleasure for me to throw in my 2 cents, especially as all your scenarios are of highest quality. :)

I agree, Barbarossa was extremely fun to playtest which was a very good indication, and judging by its response it is a good judge. :)

Version1.0-1.7 removed after 778 downloads.

It remains to be seen if there will be a version 1.8.

The WWI-Global 1.9c project is stall alive,
although work has been halted.

Time have been reallocated to Barbarossa 1.2 and
TGW-DIV 1.3.

After those updates have been completed
my intention is to resume work on the WWI-Global 1.9c project.

Metacomet,

I will consider to transfer it to the 180x180 map.
(Work has already been done on it.)
That map is fast.

Im afraid this scenario was never for the slow people...

What do you mean with Slow people?..........Do you want to let me know something about myself?

I was just joking arround, but it was a really bad choice of words....jajajajajajajajajajaja

Metacomet,

Yes, I will use the 180x180 map.
It seems that custom units and fast maps
now are the standard in new scenarios.
Probably maps larger than 180x180 should be avoided.

Its possible, I will change start date for the scenario.
Right now I am thinking of 1861.

That sounds great :goodjob: , I'll try to help you as much as I can.

Why 1861?, Are you gonna have the CSA?

Metacomet,

Thank you.

1861. Yes you are right:
One of the reasons is that can include C.S.A.
Also, 1861 almost anything could have occured
with regard to imperial expansion.
The first Pre-Dreadnought, HMS Warrior was commissioned.

Rocoteh

1861, population stats, in millions:

Britain 25
France 37
Germany 38 (within 1871 borders)
USA 21
CSA 10 (4 million slaves)
Italy 25
Spain 17
Portugal 4
Sweden (including Norway) 6
Brazil 8
Argentina 1
Chile 1

British Empire:
Canada 3
Australia 1

What will be the time frame?

1861-1914?

1861-forever?

or something different?

Metacomet,

I am thinking about 1 month = 1 turn.

Thus with current limits in the editor it would
be 1861-1940 (or close to 1940).

Victory conditions to be decided though.
It can lead to a shorter scenario.

Rocoteh,

I found a map of Europe in 1861. Maybe can help you. As you can see I'm really excited with this project  :crazyeye: ;)

Metacomet,

An interesting map.
Thank you.

Preussen will be Germany, since its not possible to change name
on a CIV once a scenario have started.

I really appreciate your support for this project.
It will make it easier for me to complete the scenario.
I guess it will be a big download. (60+ MB)

Its very interesting.

Rocoteh

Rocoteh,

No problem, BTW what civilizations will you include in the scenario?

Rocoteh,

This is a really interesting map with: Some Posts, Tribes, and Battles of the Indian Wars. It can help you to situate Native Americans in the USA west.

Metacomet,

A very good map!
Thank you.

Britain
France
Spain
Portugal
Italy
Germany (Preussen)
