the oobs 3rd pitboss game (Warlords), 14 players

I'm probably going to take down the servers for a while during the holidays, if you're going away please let me know for what period so I can try to accommodate most/all of us. This is probably more of an issue for those of us in the southern hemisphere, as our summer and christmas holidays coincide.
 
seems like someone else discovered the joy's of drafting:).
 
I'm going to take the Civ 4 servers down around the 20th of december, and bring them back up on the 14th of january (both NZ time of course). If anyone wants the servers to be down for longer, let me know as I will be likely to accommodate you.

I could have them down for less time, but as I intend to use the server machine at various times while in Auckland, it would mean I would have to take the server down a lot of the time, so I'd rather just have it off for the whole period.
 
Because the timing worked out well (both games have over 23 hours left on their timers) and because I will probably pack away the servers tomorrow, I've taken down the servers a bit earlier than planned. They will be back up on the 14th of January (NZ time) as originally planned.

That is fine though Sabrine still double moved me/bolonsky/da_vinci/dr. strangelove when he finished his turn since we moved first last turn(though i am not sure if any combat took place so it might not matter)...

Well her second turn is gone anyway, since the 3rd game crashed as I was trying to save it, so message her in civstats to ask her not to take her turn before you when I reload the server coming back.

I've joined the war by the way (although I am looking at handing my game over to another player soon, I have no intention of being Vercingetorix), so it's probably easiest if the two of you go first, and the two of us will go last.
 
The last free nations against the hordes of the empire eh? It was to be expected :p.
 
Yeah when we hit a 10 tech lead by taking MT from liberalism it was mostly just playing it out that remained... That said that still remains though i don't think you can actually get to a counter to artillery in time(given that they are immune to collateral.
 
Server crapped out last night... seems I didn't turn on the UPS that the server is plugged into, but it worked for a few hours anyway for some reason. Wierd. Not really sure what the situation is... anyway is back up now, I've reloaded from the most recent save, Oyzar you'll have to retake your turn in the 4th game but not the 3rd game apparently.
