What are y'all names inside the game?? I hate it when everyone has a differentname in the game vs the forum. AND I dont have control over CivStats, while subbing in for CH....

Can CH be kicked out of CivStats? Or can anyone/someone please make a list of names inside and outside the game so I can conduct a little diplo??

just do diplo through civstats(through CH) If you dont have other contacts... ofc total disregarding CH's diplo might not be the wisest thing in the world...

@Oyzar and everyone else in the game, I went over both the 3rd and 4th games "diplomatic situation" and I should be up to speed.... In taking over there may be some miscommunication as handover was short and sweet (i.e. no access to CivStats)
If anyone feels I need to know something or wants to make sure... Or communicate with me for any reason if only to say Hi or something, PM me... I will also -try to- send a PM to everyone with my Email...

There's no need for me to do anything, as all he has to do is unregister, which he's already done.

I'm moving flat on sunday (NZ time), so I'll be taking the servers down on saturday or sunday depending on how the turn falls (I prefer to shut them down shortly after the start of a new turn). They shouldn't be down too long.

Connection seems stable now (since I've gotten home from work at least), so I've brought the servers back up.

It looks as though someones connection hung onto the game after they left (happens from time to time) and was taking up a lot of the upload. I've restarted the server now so it should be fine.

If anyone can think of a solution to this problem (connections hanging for a long time afterwards) let me know, as it's the bane of pitboss hosts everywhere.

This is what I hear as well, but I have no way of knowing if it's true.

Just got this e-mail from Oob:

As my new flat is wireless, I'm going to order a wireless card through work for the server rather than running ethernet across the wall. So, it will probably be a few days before the server is back up.

Someone please post this to the game threads as I'm at work atm.

Well I've been a bit slack with sorting my stuff out after the move, but I expect to have the server back and running in the next 36 hours.

EDIT: no it's not, I forgot to forward the ports, and need to ask my flatmate (currently asleep) for the router password before I can do this as the default password isn't working. Will email you all when it's up and I've had someone test it.
