22/7 is a common approximatioon of pi, but not really a very good one, as 22/7 is 3.1428.. and pi is 3.14159. To calculate 22/7 you just do plain old long division. Surely you learned long division in school?

Even if we're including indirect effects, it's too difficult to tell, especially since every instance for each will be contested. I mean, for instance, do we include deaths caused by Marxist guerillas in South America - See the current situation - as deaths caused by atheism? Ask that question in a poll here, and you'll get a wide variety of answers and ten pages worth of discussion that ends in accusations of strawmen and infractions being handed out.
It's too difficult to ascertain the truth.
And one I get, thanks to an awesome Christmas present.
Again, neither directly; and atheism doesn't kill anyone indirectly (being, in a sense, not a thing); but ideologies that are atheistic but primarily about other things do cause deaths.
