I don't know if mentioned before, but anyone feels there is a case to make for the Basks

Sure, Europe is full and everything, but hey, some claim that the Basks were there long before the huge migrations resettled Europe or even that they were the "aboriginals of Europe" saving themselves in the western part of the Pyrenees.
For sure they are culturally very distinct and the Bask language is unrelated to any other. But I am sure that you history freaks out there (I thought I knew history quite well, until I started roaming these forums...
) have more relevant info about them.
