Overview
The time is now, do you dare rule your kingdom with a strong cultural pride, or would you rather carve your kingdom from others? The Rise and Fall of Kingdom focuses on the immersion of managing your empire on an event-level from the classical era to the renaissance era. It is composed of two paths that all civilizations may choose upon reaching a national population of 30: Civilized Heritage or Conqueror Zeal. Upon hitting the Industrial Era, all these bonuses and penalties will disappear.

Civilized Heritage
Civilized Heritage reflects the emerging glory of your empire and how its society unravels through time. Upon a city reaching 15 Population, one of the bonus will appear until you have all reached them until the "The Renaissance"
  • Acceptance of Servitude: +1 production in every city.
  • Devoted Generals: All barracks produce +1 culture and all cities produce 1 free unit once.
  • Cherished Infrastructure: +2 gold from every city.
  • Popular Satisfaction: -5% illiteracy/boredom/poverty/crime rates.
  • Strong Currency: +10% gold.
  • The Renaissance: Golden Age begins for your nation. +10 Happiness until the Industrial Era.
  • Great Accomplishments: After acquiring all events and you have not hit the Industrial Era, +100 GAP.
Conqueror Zeal
Conqueror Zeal gives your empire hope that they can capture and claim glory from other kingdoms. Upon conquering a city, one of the bonus will appear until you have all reached them until the "Kingdom Come"
  • Willing Recruits: +35% Production when training combat units.
  • Cultural Coercion: Courthouse produces +2 Culture and +1 Production and are constructed +25% faster.
  • Wily Veterans: Military units gain 100% more experience from combat and generate Great General +25% faster.
  • City Flourishment: +5 food in every city.
  • Call to Arms: +15% Combat Strength for military units stationed adjacent to another.
  • Kingdom Come: WLTKD begins in all of your cities. Any city in revolt becomes instantly stable. +10 Happiness until the Industrial Era.
  • Destiny's Lands: After acquiring all events and you have not hit the Industrial Era, +100 GAP.
Should one of your city be lost then.
Legacy of Atrophy
The Legacy of Atrophy gives your empire crippling penalties for losing cities. If you lose at least 5 cities, a dark age will occur and different foreign leadership will attempt to usurp your throne!
  • Farmer's Strike: -2 food in every cities.
  • Labor Revolt: -2 Production in every cities.
  • Shameful Literature: -1 Culture and -1 Science for every cities owned.
  • Neglected Trades: -10% gold in every cities.
  • Dissatisfied Army: -2 gold for every cities owned.
  • Dark Age: All cities goes in revolt for a quarter of their population. -10 Happiness until the Renaissance Era.
  • Usurper Leadership: After acquiring all the events and you have not hit the Renaissance Era, 2 barbarian units spawn near all of your cities.
