The Test of Time

It seems alot of people don't like you.

And in one of those pictures I saw you were one turn away from getting combined arms so you could get panzers, in 1932. That's very accurate.

Yep. You'll be seeing a lot of those on the battlefield over the course of the next few posts. I'm thinking Pachacuti needs a good whipping before I can leave the continent and start really looking at the French Problem.

This whole Aztec-Siam thing isn't going to work unless you force an Aztec-Siamese peace treaty just after capturing Muang Saluang.

And look at Russia again... Some of those northern cities have no recommendation whatsoever. I'm looking at Samara here.

A quickie this time, actually smiled a little playing this.

Bismarck retitled Muang Saluang "New Karakorum" as he handed off control of the city to Genghis Khan and his government. Bismarck also provided economic aid to the Mongols so they might stabilize the city and prosper.

War between the Siamese and the Mongols would mean trouble for Bismarck if either succeeded. As such he stationed a panzer division between the two to force a peace of sorts.

Massing Panzer tanks for a strike. Pachacuti probably.

Hopefully next post will be after I'm enjoying the finest luxuries Cusco has to offer.

So the Aztec defeat wasn't a big event like winning at Tenochtitlan was then?

It seems slightly strange that the originally Siamese city was not the one you gave to Siam, but whatever, you've freed two civs. For my sake, if Oda does turn out to be one of the conquered leaders, give them half of France.

Got satellites for the next post.

I don't think Japan is out there. Might have missed the city though because I still have two unmet civs.

We'll see.

this is pretty cool

Good grief, France is huge!

I think I have grossly misunderestimated Napoleon's power and waging war on him now has proven to be a miscalculation.

I feel that I can't win at this point and Napoleon being able to run away led to my demise alongside the mistakes in my play.

Maybe I'll start another saga at some point, maybe Pangaea instead so it will hopefully mitigate a possible runaway.

Anyways, here's the demographics. Let me know what you guys think.

Well, good story anyway, and good try against Napoleon.

So are you going to continue this, or start a new story?

Will probably end up starting a new one.

Might try a focus on mini-updates instead of some of the massive ones I put in here.

You could just focus on everyone else first and then go straight for Paris, thus winning.
