Kingdom of Shu-Han
The Kingdom of Shu-Han should have a unique unit which has increased movement and perhaps defense in mountainouse and hilly regions.
After all Shu is situated in the mountainous west of China.
Kingdoms of Wei and Wu
I agree with Wei being cavalry specialists. Perhaps a horse unique unit which has greater movement in plains? Also increased attack but crap defense...after all Wei wasnt strong on defense, the Northern Campaigns of Kongming caught them largely off guard and they lost the Western Capital of Chang An.
They only pushed Zhuge Liang out of the west AFTER beginning a counter offensive.
Indeed Wu's strength lay in its powerful Navy which aided the Kingdoms endurance far beyond the collapse of Shu to Wei/Jin...
A strong navy, or perhaps a unit with no movement penalty over rivers? Should be their UU.
Earlier Scenarios
I propose after getting an actual Three Kingdoms scenario off the ground, that begins at Zhuge Liangs' Northern Campaigns against Wei, starting earlier scenarios?
Included Scenarios could/would be (my desired ones in bold):-
-the
Yellow Turban Revolt period after the fall of Xu Chang to the rebels when Liu Bei raises his volunteer army.
-the alliance against Dong Zhuo period after the fall of Ding Yuan and the raising of troops by Cao Cao.
-the Invasion of Yanzhou by Lu Bu (which happens to coincide with Sun Ce's campaign in Jiang Dong).
-the
False Emperor Yuan Shu (just because id like to play a game as the Kingdom of Cheng

).
-He Bei campaign (the war between Cao Cao and Yuan Shao) and Cao Cao expelling Liu Bei from Xuzhou.
-Liu Bei becomes King of Hanzhong (when Liu Bei seizes "Shu" from Liu Zhang) and the division of Jingzhou.
-Jiang Wei's northern Campaigns (after the death of the mighty Kongming).
