Hi Fellow Citizen. To speed up play in this beggining I played through the 10 turns, hope you will not mind. Nothing happens much in this era.

First we found a Pantheon on turn 52. The choice was clear: Stone Circles . We had to go with the +2 faith for Quarries as there are about 10 quarries near Delphi Nova.

We couldnt complete the quest up north as we arrived late and the Chinese already won the war against the barbarians.

We also have embassies with Netherlands and Chineses.

Siam offered us a deal for our cotton against 6 gold per turn but I refused because I now believe war is really inevitable since they bought land near our second city (we have to give a name). This land contained 2 sources of Iron.

We need to make decision for the next Social Policy. I went with Landed Elite but this area of government went totally undiscussed.

As for strategy, with the money with the caravan We'll have money to try to settle near the Iron on the coast East of Delphi Nova. (which I'd name Revolution since it was founded during a military coup)

In assur I'd built another worker. 1 is not enough.

We started with barbarians attacking our warriors, the barbarians were defeated.
William proposed us embassies, I agreed. He also announce that he's protecting Milan.
Our Caravan is ready, and since the only nation I could trade with is Sam...
I've sent it to Si Satchanalai, so we bought ourselves time before the planned war against the Siamese (4 gold per turn for us, 1 science per turn for both sides).
Started Training a Settler in Delphi Nova, and a Worker in Assur

Seems our Dualist Party has taken full power of the empire! Long live to the Dualist party were NKVD and Dostayer rules with the opposition behind the bars in gulag up in the north of the Dutch empire.

I agree with the current strategy. Go ahead Ruler! I'd add that if we can buy the Stone tile north of Delphi Nova it would garantee us the stone plus it would block the path to Siam to the eastern part of the island. It's also a good spot to settle in a distant future. ( I dont remember if we can buy a 4-tiles-away tile though)

it seems that he had a whirlwind romance with a jailer down there, but it ended in heartbreak when the jailer was killed in an escape attempt by deposed politicians.

anyways, I'm back and once I'm showered off I will get involved again.

looks like you guys have got this covered for now, it's a shame that we had to lie to Siam about kicking his ass in the near future as now we will get the terrible diplo penalties. therefore, and combined with the fact that this has now become some sort of military dictatorship, I say we fully militarise and wipe the opponents from OUR continent
