awesome so these hyper future tech peeps are gonna get killed by primitive old us so heres what im guessing will have a bunch of primitive citys but they'll have a few highly advanced ones
And so it came to pass that a new, shining city arose: Andor Gen'Shar, the City of the Highest. Built of cannibalized hull plating from their mortally wounded starship, the city's metal spires shone like sword blades on a world that should not have seen such advanced construction for another six thousand years....
....and In'Shai Kor'Ath, the commander of the starship that had brought the Gen'Shar to their new world, was re-christened Emperor Kor'Ath, lord of his people.
And so the ancient contest of survival began. At which point....
Well, if you have no problem with the fact that I just won the game in 3950 BC, there's no worry.
I find this puzzling, because I turned off all the victory conditions except conquest. I've got no idea what I screwed up.
Another problem I noticed is that I should have taken Nationalism out of the list of techs the Gen'Shar possess at game start. This messes up the early game a bit, because the option of defending Andor Gen'Shar with cheap early-age units doesn't exist--I've got warriors, and Riflemen, and that's it for now.
Anyway, I rolled up a new start--which seems to have yet another bug in it, because I possess Flight technology even though I specifically did NOT include flight in the Gen'Shar starting techs. Shouldn't knock the balance off too much though--because I don't really know how balanced this is going to be.
Okay, now I gotta start the story all over again:
There. Now that everything's straightened out....the epic struggle for survival begins.....again.....
