Natural History Museum as a museum option (science+culture boost)

There is the Art Museum (houses great works of art) vs. the ...other Museum (houses artifacts). And artifacts plus the dino skeleton in its graphics point towards natural history.

I thought Archaeology Museum was settled? I agree with the dino skeleton pointing away from that, but most things on display there will be from archaeologists that excavate former camps/civs/goody huts. So natural history doesn't seem right. But we don't know much about that whole part of gameplay. I just assume this belongs more or less to the 33% that stay the same, except for archeologists being limited by your museums.

From the Kongo video:

A picture of the Great Zimbabwe

You mean this? I don't think we've seen this before.

I believe the Venetian Arsenal wonder is depicted here, but what's interesting is that it appears *on water*. So far the pictures we've seen of it depicted it on land. Maybe a change?

From the features thread

Oxford University:
+20% science in this city, and awards 2 randomly-chosen free technologies when completed. Must be built on Grasslands or Plains adjacent to a Campus District with a University.

+ 3 Great Scientist points per turn
+ 2 Great Works of Writing slots

Edt: and updated Colosseum with new effects.

Bolshoi Theatre confirmed to be the wonder at Opera and Ballet.

I read somewhere that The Hermitage was confirmed too. Maybe?

In the live stream, Kongo was building the Hermitage.

Hermitage must be built along a river. 49:47

Broadway: "1 free random Atomic Era civic Boost. Must be built on flat land adjacent to a Theater Square district." 51:44

Whoa, is that it? Seems so... dull. Maybe it's got amazing yields?

Re: Colosseum.... Jesus what is this, the third time in a month the effect has been changed?

They probably have great work slots or other bonuses that we didn't see.

Lack of Taj Mahal, Angkor Wat or Machu Picchu is disturbing :(

Also the 3 ancient wonders, Zeus, Artemis, and the Mausoleum
Then again, those were DLC in Civ V too

True...where is my Machu Piccu , I know there is no Internal Trade anymore but it is a cool wonder. Taj Mahal gotta be in there :(

Actually those 3 are my some of my favourite wonders, the Taj mahal is a crucial part of my 400-500 year Golden Age

Side Topic..... I remember a Reform and Rule Mod(Great prophets and Great Writers spawn a 6 turn Golden Age) game where I had an unbroken Golden Age from the 1270 to 1958(epic) it was GLORIOUS :D. I wasn't particular going for it, (i wasn't going tourism so i was burning Great Writers for Culture and Great Artists for Golden Ages) when i was sitting on a 40 turn Golden Age i figured i would just run with it :)

Maybe they'll add Macchu Picchu in the inevitable Inca DLC. Or maybe Mr Beach doesn't believe MP is exceptionally significant, but hopefully there will be at least a couple of Andean civ wonders eventually.

You can't add new Wonders without removing some old ones, that's just inevitable. Game can't have hundreds of Wonders, Units and so on.

Exactly. There are plenty of wonders in game, and some interesting new ones too. Old favourites will probably return later. If the Aztec pack is anything to go by, Inca + Machu Picchu, and Khmer + Angkor Wat are distinct possibilities.

I think they well tie most wonders to new mechanics.
For example Diplomatic Victory and the whole related mechanics will also surely mean 4-5 new wonders, when they will add it in the first expansion.

But yeah, sure. 1-1 new civ with their uniques can also introduce some new minor mechanics, which also makes room for a related wonder too.
Inca - Machu Picchu with mountains, and Khmer - Angkor Wat with special religion rules are good examples, so I agree.

What about the Taj Mahal? Mughal Leader for India confirmed ;) but yeah sure expansions etc.. New Wonders and all that....I really like Maccu Piccu tho :(, Guilds... Yay :)......awwww :(
