Geonosians FTW!

no, WORSE than that is Jar Jar or any fellow Gunguns.

I'd say the Geonosians are more unpleasant to the EARS, while the Gunguns are more unpleasant to the BRAIN.

I forgot about English accents. The most violently ugly American English accent is the New Jersey + New York accent. While at AT&T, I had to listen to the person in the next cubicle constantly talking loudly in that stupid accent. Now, at my current job, I have to listen to yet another New Jerseyan woman constantly yakking. I started listening to music on my headphones when she's blabbing so I don't have to listen to her disgusting accent. Yes, I really feel disgusted by the aforementioned accent. The Bostonian accent is the same as the New York one except dumber. It's hard to imagine a dumber sounding accent than the New York one, but Bostonians accomplished it.

Agreed 100%. I love my American English (as in the standard, GAE) but absolutely despise New England accents. And the Southern drawl.

The language of OT is horrendus!

Please excuse me British and Australian people, but your 4-8 year old daughters accents make any and every ugly sound more enjoyable.

Arabic is by far the ugliest language. I just spent the last 15 months listening to it. It's only good for yelling at people. Taafi Late Gahaba!! (Turn off your lights B*tch!) :)

I've never heard Esperanto spoken but I would like to hear it.

I was wondering about that the other day... does it even still exist? seems kinda pointless.

Castilian as spoken by Spanish women; it makes young women sound like old crone-like prostitutes or something; Greek is similar, but not as extreme.

All the musical languages - Gaelic, Scottish or Irish English accents (hell even English English accents sound nice to me as an American), Italian of course, maybe Urdu.

English is by the far the best language if you want to say something beautiful though. The first thing any English speaker notices when learning a different language is the poverty of synonyms and shades of meaning. It's not a fair competition - English has stolen vocabulary from dozens of other languages. For every noun, verb or adjective, we have like eight words that can work. How many ways are there to say "cat" in Spanish?

English English
You said English English instead of British English. That's not politically correct! :mischief:

And your opinion has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that you're biased towards English.

Judging from pure simplicity, Russian has no competition.

Svenska är det ultimata språket! Sverige över alla!

it seems actually the opposite to me.
Many single english words have plenty of synonyms in italian. Italian is a far richer language. But it's not necessarily a good thing.

The most beautiful for me are the Latin Languages (in first place) (starting with Italian > French > Spanish/Portuguese, I like both...) and both English.

I don't like german =P, but I like Arabic (they are both wining the poll)!

Not at all, English is actually my third language (although the one I'm currently most fluent in).

By far the best language? How many languages exactly do you speak to the degree that you can say something like this about all the languages in the world?

It seems exactly the opposite for me. Oh and there are at least 4 words for cat in Romanian, how many are there in English?
