Nonnob and OmniMower on going to be on cloud 9 now that they've found someone to make the Dora.:D :D :D

I don't think there is a way to confine it exclusively to railroads, but it could be given a movement rate of one along with the wheeled flag to severly limit its cross country wanderings.

GuyInCorner, no jumping out of windows. We don't want a repeat of dannyevilcat's cliff-jumping incident.
 
As per nonnob3's request (and how could I refuse our exalted leader), I have posted my settings for all German units and subject them to a peer review (be kind). Keep in mind that these have been taken out of the greater context of the game so some things might not make sense at first. And some things just might not make sense at all. Everyone, let me know what you think.

Forgive me for being rather unenthusiastic about Dora. As far as I can see, it is a huge waste of resources. You'd be better off using the same material to build a dozen panzers, IMO.

Same thing goes for the Maus. Bigger is not better in tanks if you're sacrificing speed and mobility.

I suppose it would still be cool to see it in Civ3, but I wouldn't build them...
 
Just wanted to give you guys a thumbs up for your efforts in creating these great units. I'm not big fan of Facism but I don't let it interfere with my respect for your abilties as designers. Keep up the good work fellas. If you all are really interested in some German Unit ideas, try looking at Steel Panthers by SSI. You can get a updated version from Home of the Underdogs for free (It's an official abandonware site). Id like to see the FW 190A-8 and MG-34/42 Infantry Unit. :)

LUGER - Try to play "Return to Castel Wolfenstein" once.. Then you will know about the most-known German ww2 weapons! ;)

The Dora looks like a Rail gun,
Yeah! A Rail Gun! Anybody ho makes a Rail Gun for CivIII gets a personal gift!!!

I'm using a Rail Gun im my MOD...
I decided to give it a movement of 1, and a very very hard single-shot bo,bardement..

Rail Guns were powerfull, but not important un the war.. Simply becase it took very long to relaod them, and they were an easy target for air strikes..

I think someone has made a V-1 or V-2. Have you checked the Unit Library?

i dont now havnt checked the libray lately
 
There definitely is a V-1 at least. I have set it up as a weak cruise missile unit and made it available to the Germans with Advanced Flight. It doesn't really shift the power in favour of the Germans at all. You can find it in the Units Library.
