This is probably a silly question

Im having SERIOUSLY STRESSFULL problems trying to get the sound effects to work for a unit i downloaded yesterday.
It may just be me staying awake for 34 hours or so trying to complete my mod, but im really stuck on these sound effects

I Downloaded the Chaos Warrior by EmbryoDead (nice unit btw ) and when i finally figured out how to add it to my mod, the sounds wouldnt work

here's a little example of the INI File where the sound effects are concerned:

Please note, i had the unit folder in the correct place, and the INI filename matched the unit Folder name, and the sound files were named correctly.

Although when i tried to correct the Filepaths of the BeserkDeath.wav etc... it still didnt work.

can ANYBODY help me im about ready to trash my computer!

just no sounds where there should be some....

weird, i've never seen that happen.

Move the sound files into the folder and referense them in there, that might make a difference.

Not to make you sound stupid, but did you make sure Civ3 sounds were turned on?

hehe i told u it was a stupid question, made me think for a sec too
but the unit i made it attack made noise, and it was just silent cant really swing that fat axe at somebody without it making any noise

Man i haven't slept all last night or two nights before. Ive been skipping nights this summer to clean up my computer from un needed files and junk. And yea the Berserk noices are fairly quiet.

hehe same here, if it isnt Multi Player games all nights its a good bash at a conquest on Sid, or a round of modding, or creating scenarios, and if none of those its posting on forums like these
