Hello folks,
today a yellow DHL delivery truck came to my house and left a package in our drop-off room. Immediately I went down and found a approximately 30x50 cm box there with a really high postage amount on it. Of course I KNEW what it was and excitedly took it up to my apartment.
There, I ripped open the packing paper - remembering just in time that I really should document all of this! So, here's picture #1, with my voluntary unpacking help:
Opening the box I could see a very neatly arranged interior with a little letter from Hex to me:
In a cardboard tube the reeeeeally nice poster was stored and got inspected and smelled at by my helper:
Here you can see my second helper checking for dangerous vapors of residue color solvent. Oh and of course
SPECIAL SECRET SUPER SURPRISE #1!!! A
framed print of an evil sorcerer (I believe there's a wallpaper of this in
Hex's wallpaper thread - couldn't find where I saw it before):
Of course i just
had to hang my new treasure on the wall above my desk immediately (next to my
Fiddler's Green poster and a really big
periodic table of the elements):
Fit's there nicely, right? I just LOVE the green color and since my hobby is fantasy LARP (
Live Acting RolePlaying) I love that kind of stuff anyway. So double yay!
And last and also incredibly cool I present
SUPER SECRET SPECIAL #2 - a personal Fall from Heaven themed soundtrack assembled by Hexagonian featuring 100 songs (playing for 6.5 hours!!!). Guess what I'm listening to right now? Also love the printed sticker with the little colored FfH logo. Hex surely is an extravagant one (in a positive way, if that word is ambiguous in English)!!!
The tracks on the CD (@Hex: they play with VLC media player prettily - since I don't have iTunes) are really cool and will enhance the atmosphere of my future FfH games a lot. I've been looking for music to listen to already, I wonder how he knew that!
Now the package was emptied and all content presented. I want to shout out another huge
THANK YOU to
Hexagonian!
You're a really great guy!
And to the others: get creative and show your haikus in the
second poster contest created, sponsored and judged again by Hex. I'm looking forward to reading your haikus and unpacking posts if you win.
A great day to everyone and have lots of fun playing!
