OK, so I've been using T-bird for a while now for my email and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the damned thing to allow me to browse my email as I like.

Basically, I'd like the "previous" and "next" buttons mean go to the previous or next email regardless if that email is new or not. I can't believe I'm the only person in the world who might want to browse email in this fashion.

Thanks for any help! :)

I looked for a bit and couldnt find anything in the prefs to do this. The best thing I can suggest is using the hotkeys ( F and B ) instead.

The up and down arrows on your keyboard will do exactly that. While the back button is like an internet back button selecting the last message that you chose.

I have to admit I really do like T-bird and it integrates very well with g-mail.
