Dear TNT

We are still turns away from being able to assist militarily and fear by the time that we can mount an effective assault on the Nuts that your team will sadly no longer be viable.

Therefore and also to adhere to our 'honour code' we must sadly inform you that it is unlikely that we can assist you in any 'real' sense. Regarding our honour, something that has caused much frustration with your team, we were approached by Nuts to provide Intel about Meza Keep but have refused and have made it quite clear that we will not assist them in your demise.

If we do manage to connect a harbour, and you have managed to hold off KISS and Nuts we are still prepared to send you free Iron.

We will still send any intelligence on troop movement that our Knight sees and update you on Military Strength, in return we would still like to receive Battle Logs automatically and not have to request them. We see as you will Mounted Warriors scattered in the eastern mountains and also approaching Mezza Keep which was incentive enough for us to found Silken Glove south of the mountain.

We can understand your frustration but the rapid rate of the KISS action has virtually sealed your fate and unless things alter dramatically it would be ridiculous for us to enter a war which will in the long term be detrimental to our own game.

We wish you luck in your defence and await a response.

Thoughts ?

EDIT added something about Nuts having a presence nearby ... as they would see them anyway.

I want to send this ASAP, before Nut's turn comes about !!!

I sent due to fact that many of team had a chance to read and comment and therefore assumed it was in keeping with our attitude towards TNT.
 
I personally would much prefer it if most of TNT's former members became MIA refugees (when they die). We dont want our old alliance leaked, since Nuts will no longer trust us, and KISS will have more reason to attack us.
 
What is the next step with TNT?

Do we inform them of our embassy?

I'm not sure ... if it was established on us ... I would declare straight away in order to seal the security breach.
 
If TNT is still paying attention, they will know about our embassy on their own. I'm not sure how to explain the fact that we want one now, but we didn't want one when they offered us an RoP before.

Anyway, if they declared on us, that would be a mostly good thing - free war happiness as long as they don't have enough to take our silks town.
 
I finally figured out what was bothering me about the TNT screenies - I wasn't surprised to see no luxuries connected to their capital anymore, but Mezzonotte Keep doesn't have silks connected to it either because their roads are gone. TNT must have pillaged their own roads to the silks. That probably means they have withdrawn their pikemen entirely and are planning to abandon the city as Dnuts approach. Hopefully they won't change their minds when they realize we have betrayed them...

How about this? We say to TNT, that if they do not give Mezzonite Keep, that we will take it from them. We know that they are dead so Whya can we have some more towns for us? TNT have passed there usefulness for us so we must get something from them and thus we can move the other knight to protec that city.
 
:hmm: Interesting idea.

However if we get Mezza Keep then Nuts get no Silks ... I am thinking that this will not be seen in a positive light by Nuts.

However if the proposed discussions with Nuts do not end up with a warm and fuzzy, perhaps this is a good fallback option.

I fear that Mezza will be razed just before a Mounted Warrior can take it.

It is now turn 148 ... Anyone care to predict when TNT become extinct?

I think they got at most another 20 ... will narrow it down later ;)
