To Spanish speaking members: Help!

There are several Spanish phrases in need for a project i'm working on. I'll have to look up the rest in a few minutes. For now, can someone translate this (translation websites would not be able to display context, which is why i'm doing a rewrite on the project) (this first sentence is in reference to extraterrials, if that matters):


The species got to know each other well.

La especie se familiarizó con bien.

Maybe spanish speaking members can tell if the translation is any good and if so you can put all sentences in there.

Las especies se familiarizaron bien seems more correct, if that's a real verb.

Hold on, I was thinking of something else.

You probably want se conocieron or se conocían.

"Las especies llegaron a conocerse bien" is one of the possible alternatives.

After they finished talking, the space ships and their crew returned to their home planets.

For the first:
Las especies se conocieron bien.

"Han conocido" would also work instead of "conocieron."

Después de que ellos terminaron a hablar, las naves espaciales y sus tripulaciones volvieron a sus planetas.

"Del hogar" would be an optional bit for the end. Right now it just says "their planets," but that is sufficient.

Tuvieron una buena cena juntos con una vista de la estrella a través de la ventana.

I noticed a couple of mistakes and fixed them. I don't type fast or well.

Ellos tuvieron una cena agradable juntos con una vista de la estrella por la ventana.

Or, leaving out "nice:"

Ellos cenaron juntos con una vista de la estrella por la ventana.
