Too Old to play

Age is currently 30, but I'll be 31 in May. (It should be possible to change one's answer to this thread as time goes by!)

Ah, it's so relieving to read these statistics. I was wondering whether I'm too old to play this game already. Now, I've got statistics to show my wife!

I don't think there is any such thing as an age limit. If you enjoy games, are a history buff then you're probably already playing civ. There are people I've known who were in their sixties who were a lot younger at heart than some 25 year olds.

I'm 33 and thought I am easily one of the oldest gamers here, and what a surprise! I secretly felt embarrassed for still playing computer games at my age, and now I am relieved.

Got my hands on Civ 3 and PTW only recently, gee.. what a regret! Since then my life is in a mess-- late bills, unable to concentrate on my work due to late nights, no social life and etc. The plus point is I actually cut down alot on hanging out in pub, which is a good thing I guess.

I hope I could play more often, but gone were the days where I could play day and night like I used to play Civ (DOS) more than 10 years ago, sigh..
