Torney Rd1: mep vs Lucky (CFCT)

140. a5 g5
41. Rxb6 Rxb6
42. axb6 Kf8
43. Bc6 Ke7
44. Bxd5 h4
45. Ne4

If possible, I will capture the Knight, otherwise I'll play 46. b7

It is impossible for you to stop both the b6 and e6 pawns from queening.

Once again it seems that I have to give up. Unfortunately I lost a lot of enthusiasm and interest when my university studies started again, and so I couldn´t really get a "feeling" for this game.
So now I cannot see any possibility to continue, my goal for the last few turns was a stalemate, but I cannot find a position for that.
:( :(

So if you see this game the same way, i.e. no real possibility for me, I have to resign. If you still see a chance for me, tell me to continue and I´ll look for it.
:D

I see no realistic chances for you. Your h- and g-pawns can easily be stoped, while one of my two cannot.

I accept your resignation.

Good game.:goodjob:
