Total Realism FAQ

As long as you're running a 32-bit OS, you will run into MAFs. The measures offered just serve to postpone them until later in game. Also, stay tuned, we will release for BtS quite soon! :)

Have had no issue. Eeked out a time victory at epic speed and crashed once, but that was likely the videocard fault. So no MAFs for me. Maybe because the processor is dual core 64 bit and supports 4GB RAM at 800MHz; it's only my OS that's 32 bit - and that's because I didn't want to make MS any richer and installed an old XP Pro copy I had flying around. So, Warlords TR on biggest map at highest resolution was quite a joy on my equipment once I had that 3GB switch in.

Did buy BtS now (currently just $9.99 on DirectToDrive), but have no intention on installing it. Not until you make good on publishing that TR mod for BtS - and I hope you meant it when you said it'd be soon. After being spoiled by Warlords TR, I just know it'd be a huge let-down giving the unmodded BtS a try. Just having to settle for that plain vanilla, bland old map would make me regret it. Quick question in that regard: I wanted to mix it up in my second game a couple days ago and selected "cold/arctic/whatever it's called" as the climate, but still found the map to have lots of jungle and bananas. And my Nordic Settler always spawned right next to a Citrus Plantation. Yeah. Not what I had in mind for a cold setting. Is the TR mod map limited to the normal setting because of its preset resource mix and/or its cool (but maybe inflexible) map design?

You may want to experiment with different map scripts. While some - for some unknown reason - don't function properly, many others produce quite satisfying results. I think there are some scripts there that even assign flavor starting points based on the civ - so that Vikings will not start in jungle, for instance.

And yeah, a BtS release will be out really soon. Quite possibly "this week" soon. ;)

Awesome! You guys deserve some sort of civics price, for unselfishly putting up all this work for the rest of us to delect ourselves on this TR goodie. Great news! Happy Holidays to the team.

... and that'll include Realism Invictus (one can hope). :)
Had banked on maybe getting it between the years, but it's ready when it's ready. Had some free time, so since RI isn't available yet, spent it on some of other older BtS mods; RevolutionDCM, for one. That one just wants to annoy you. Rhye's is interesting, but really a totally scripted affair. So, I realized I already found my niche with TR 2.4 for Warlords. Your mod was just the best, and same will hold true for the BtS version. I will wait it out until you guys release, then play one of yours thru to the end, and then I'll have had my Civ fix for good, I think. So, thanks for putting RI together (too bad there wasn't enough time for you to look at corporations more closely and somehow incorporate them - I think that aspect is more promising and fun than the whole spying thing that Shafer contributed to Civ IV BtS (before he mucked up Civ V)). RI will be the best, most playable, and most challenging (in a non-annoying way) mod out there, and your effort is appreciated.

Loool
Don't even post till your answer to the same question will be:
In the past. Definitely in the past.
;)

Culturally linked starting locations is what I miss most from c2c

AI autoplay in 3.4? I tried ctrl+shift+x but it doesn't work. I would like to see how AI plays,is it still possible to enable autoplay?
