Drakan said:CA already announced that after Medieval 2: Total War would come Shogun 2: Total War.
Sisonpyh said:No they haven't.
Provide a link of proof if otherwise.
Drakan said:So Sisonpyh I won't take as a disrespect the tone of your post because they haven't made it official yet, as you highlight, and won't make it official until early 2008 (after all they have to sell M2:TWs expansion pack first) and unfortunately their website has been down these last two months so I cannot post a link to the exact thread where I read it.
Albeit if you take your time to read through their threads and posts, at least once it's back up online 'cause they are changing server I believe, you'll see that in a couple of threads this is mentioned by very knowleadgeable posters regarding the TW series; people that I and others have come to respect in time.
Drakan said:It's drakan with an "a", you spellt it wrong.
I think you are under the distinct impression that fansites are for 20 year-old wishful thinking "fanboys" (again you spellt this wrong) when the truth is that you have members of all ages.
Drakan said:Nothing is a fact until proven as you rightly point out.
Look I'm not going to enter into a pointless discussion with you here. As I already made clear in my last post to you I cannot back up my claim because that website is down.
Drakan said:It's not about being a snob Sisonpyh.
Drakan said:Based Similar to CFC is rometotalrealismorg which amongst it's posters have game designers, skinners etc.. who develop games, mods and also have ex employees of CA posting. Have you actually visited rometotalrealismorg's website ?
Drakan said:So you can call it an educated guess if you wish by people who know well the company and what to develop a game means not just careless posts by a bunch of brainless 15 year-olds who are blindly guessing.
Drakan said:You have to understand that it's much easier for CA, for numerous reasons, to deliver a new instalment of something previously existing than creating something from scratch such as a Fantasy realm game as you point out. CA love the Sengoku Jidai period because it's perfectly fit for a TW type of game, this has been posted a zillion times by them.
Drakan said:IMHO.
Drakan said:I think there is no need to call me a liar. My post shouldn't have stated categorically that CA had made that clear because they haven't, as you bluntly pointed out.
Drakan said:CA already announced that after Medieval 2: Total War would come Shogun 2: Total War.
Drakan said:What I'm trying to make clear is that some of those members are very well informed regarding the TW franchise and there are not just your average 13 year-old-fan guessing. It's now been a couple of years reading the posts and have been proved to be extremely insightful in many aspects just like CFC is to the Civ franchise.
Sisonpyh said:Anyways, there is only one answer to this thread. Warhammer: Total War.
Slavic Sioux said:1 IMHO Warhammer sucks like a mound of crap
Slavic Sioux said:I aslo think that if they are to make a Fantisy total war game I would think it SHOLUD be somthing based of age of Mytholgy.
