That's unfortunately but oh well, no doubt someone will come along desperate to solve this issue and they can be my test subject lol! Although I might borrow a mates Win 10 laptop at some point to try myself. I'm curious to do an additional test where if I use that reg file attached to my previous post here to add a ToT path into the windows registry on a OS with no copy of ToT installed at all, and then run the official patch, will the patch still install into the empty ToT folder? As then all the files it installs in the fake ToT path could be zipped up and simply extracted on to peoples ToT installs in the future. However I guess all that's not really needed as people can just use sanmadjack's ToT & MGE custom installer instead. But I'm guessing this was possibly how he and McMonkey got the required patch files out of that cab file and made their own installers.
