There is a treaty culture trade option but I do not have it on with the Huns currently but will turn it on in a while to see the difference.
I also have a way into this continent so am having great fun!

Any comments experiences, knowedge greatly appreciated, I will probably create come type of influence guide... but there is no guide section for HK... (dodgy moderators or obsessive Admins are clearly in an old fashioned culture and need to be influenced)

Guides go into the strategy section :).

OK ... the city flipped just When I changed to the Ming Dynasty which has an absaloutely awesome Tea House! I thought it was time to choose an Aesthetic but it has boosed by influence so much. It looks like once you have your foot in the door your influence snowballs if its strong enough

EDIT: And so it goes on, anything under41% is either converted or converting. Yje blue area top left is an outpost that is still being built.

Some comments from the top of my head, but don't take them as gospel (need to properly check):

- Harbors are needed for influence/religion travel.
- I think the tipping point is 40%. When the current holder of the territory goes to 40% or lower and there's a challenger with a higher score, the conversion starts.

No, those bits are gospel.

I never noticed that you could trade influence that way, that is nice to know.

Just one question, The influence you spread, is it depended on the amount of faith you have, the amount of influence you have or both? Sorry, this is the only screen I have no idea what it means....

Religion spreads as well with faith in the same way, it depends on how much faith you have compared to them.
But I am concentrating on Influence

The latest is civs will not convert unless they have a harbour if not done via trade routes. The city at the top is now converting as it just built a harbour.
Please note: I am currently an aesthete so they are not getting angry so much at me, I have alliances as well with them all (although annoyingly I am at war with one of my allies and cannot fight them)
