I'm playing my first game (single with no competitors).
I tried to connect a train from a supplier (oil) to a city that accepts that supply (oil). The circle is black instead of white, and I can't add the train to that city.

Sorry for taking so long to reply to you Snoopy55. I couldn't find my way back here. Sorry, I tried to "easy upload" the saved game but an error message says I can't. I must have done something wrong.

Sometimes I double-track at a station, but the track is too far to one side and doesn't count as being part of the station. The solution is to double track the other side of the tracks that are already there.

Wing Fat - once you have a station up, which you have 1 track to, you can add 2 more. To add the 4th, you must turn it into a Terminal. It doesn't matter what side of the existing track you use. If you try to put a double track in B4 you put up the Depot (lowest station), then you only get one of them.

Arthur39 - search for Hooked on Railroads on the internet and upload it there. If I don't get to it, there are lots of other that will.

Check the double tracking system. Check the route from the beginning to the end. Dont forget that in order to swick tracks they must be crosslinked (connected together)

I ran into this problem with the demo, I realized that the track has to go in the right direction, just having the track connected is not enough. Look at the direction the train needs to take in order to reach that city, you may have to connect a short turn of track to get a path in the direction you need to go.
