Traius' D&D themed mafia

Was hoping some more people might send in orders. Sorry for the delay. Orders Locked. Update pending.

Midnight came, and a full-moon took the sky. The vote had been split many ways, and nothing had been achieved. When the town parted ways, but scant hours before, there had been some who still believed that the mafia could not have infiltrated their hamlet; but the night made everything more frightening. Paranoia set in. People scrambled to find weapons. Some brave few took arms and went to defend their fellow townsfolk.

The Godfather had also found his weapons....
He crept up, silently, towards the home of Visorslash. He was certain his prey would be cowering in his home, so was very surprised when Visor left his house, willingly. The Godfather followed Visor, hoping for a perfect opportunity to strike. He found one when Visor approached the house of a third party, pulled out some tools, and became engrossed in the odd task of sawing on support beams...
The Godfather loaded his cross-bow, dipped it in poison, and fired it at Visor. Visor was hit for 15 damage! He was slain instantly!
Visorslash Has died!
He was townie!
His role was Carpenter!

But what the Godfather had not noticed was a nearby, armed, mysterious stranger, who had seen the Godfather, right as he was loading his crossbow. The mysterious stranger charged out from his hiding place, knowing he would not be able to stop the shot from being taken. He struck the Godfather! With all of his momentum from the charge, it should have been a savage blow, but the Godfather's keen reflexes allowed him to roll with the swing, and get to a standing position.
The Godfather drew his sword against this unforeseen enemy. His sheath was lined with poison, adding another degree of deadliness to his blade. He squared off with his opponent. The stranger was similarly armed, but not as agile or strong. With poison as well, this should be easy
They parried each others blows, neither finding a moment. Then, the Godfather found a weakness in the stranger's defense, and struck home. The poison found its way as well. Soon you will be dead! But the stranger kept fighting...
They parried, until, in a weird twist, both had their weapons strike true at the same time. The Godfather was stunned, but the stranger now had two bleeding wounds.
The stranger refused to let the pain stop him. His opponent was reeling, so he lunged. He hit his opponent in the head, hard. The Godfather staggered, falling to his back. The stranger tried to lunge again, to capitalize on his opponent's fall, but the injuries slowed him, just enough for the Godfather to recover, and place his sword in between them. The stranger half-fell on it. Though he was now pretty grievously injured, he was still in the dominant position, with the Godfather on his back.
The Godfather was amazed to see the stranger ready his arm for another swing. Why won't you just die?. He readied his weapon to parry the incoming blow, aimed right for his head. He failed. Things were starting to go black. It would all have been over right there except the blood running down the strangers arm caused him to momentarily lose his grip. The Godfather, with one last effort, thrust his short-sword. The stranger was stabbed, right through his left palm. He swung his weapon, with his right hand, and crushed the Godfather's skull between his weapon and the road.
The stranger looked at his wounds. Though numerous, none had been particularly bad, except for that first poisoned one. That one hurt like a mofo. He decided to try and make his way home....
In an unlikely battle scenario, the Godfather has been slain!
He was a thief-type Godfather!
He was played by Spaceman98!
Spaceman98 is dead!
The RNGods favoured the mysterious stranger....

In another part of town, another killer whetted his blade. He had left his house to kill Mat93.
Along the way to the fine, mansion-of-a-house that Mat93 lived in, the killer was surprised to find Mat 93 on the main street. Like the Godfather, he had assumed his prey would be either cowering, or peacefully sleeping. Like Visorslash, Mat93 had a mysterious stranger guarding him, but this stranger was standing directly beside Mat, making no attempt to hide. He must have a paid bodyguard, a permanent man-at-arms! The killer thought. No matter, I can kill them both
Mat had also gone to another person's home, attempting to get them to come out and talk. The home-owner in question would have none of this though, and sent Mat on his way.
The bushes at the end of the path to the home in question, proved a perfectly suitable ambush point. Amazingly, neither Mat nor his man-at-arms heard the killer when he sprung from the bushes. The killer struck mat hard, with his blade, through Mat's face. Though grievously injured, he survived the blow; however, his previously-good looks had taken a significant ding.
The man-at-arms cursed his stupidity, and swung at the killer, missing widely. Mat, though rich enough to have fine combat tutors, had little talent himself. He swung his longsword, and nearly dropped it. The killer pounced on Mat's error, and dispatched him with another slice of his blade.
The killer squared off with the man-at-arms, newly demoralized by his failure to protect his charge. He fights, filled with rage, but not with sense. The charge is true, though, and the killer was stabbed in the leg.
The killer did his best to close the distance. His shorter weapon requires to go inside the reach of the halberd. The killer deftly side-stepped a downward swing of the halberd's axe-blade, then stabbed the man-at-arms, and kicked him in the side. The man-at-arms fell to the ground, mostly on his front. The killer stabbed once more, and thrust his blade into the fallen man's chest. The man-at-arms was no more.

Mat 93 has been slain!
He was townie!
His role was Land-Owner

Day 2 Begins!
Day 2 ends at 4:01 AM November 25th, EST. Sorry for the multi-hour delay, simulating this took longer than I thought. A lot longer. Might need to find some program to aid in rolling D&D battles....
[TIMER=11/25/2012 4:01 AM EST; Day Phase Over][/TIMER]

Players:
1. Jarrema
2. johnhughthom
3. Mat93 Dead, Land-Owner

5. "Dr. Leo" Spaceman98 Dead, Godfather
6. Classical Hero

8. TopSecret
9. BSmith1068
10. Visorslash Dead, Carpenter

All right
I killed Visorslash's killer.
I am a priest. I sent order to protect Visor. Unluskily, I did not manage to do that. Luckily, as a priest, (sort of cleric I suppose) I was not so bad at hand-to-hand combat. And I was able to heal myself.

One more thing: someone has stolen my items! Dear mister thief. If you are kind of rogue, you will have no use for my equipment: you cannot probably use heavy armor, and you are fighting better with sword-like weapons. Please, consider giving me those items back.

Meanwhile, vote: EliteofWarMan8 for no real reason

I scanned johnhughthom as scum. He is either a Mafia priest or a Mafia mage. Lynch him.

vote: johnhughthom

Would help if I got the vote part in there...

Items have been added to the thieves' guild for sale. They will be biddable tonight (night 2). Bidding has no consequences on night actions. Said items will be added to you for night 2's combat purposes. Auction closes at end of night 2.

ok. unvote; vote: Johnhughtom

With the day half spent, a significant bandwagon was beginning to form around JohnHughThom. There were no other candidates. The town seemed to be taking the lessons of day 1 and night 1 to heart; lynching anyone was better than lynching no one.

You scanned me as either a mafia mage, or a mafia priest, Mr Smith? Well, you are 25% right, well done.

Vote: Warman

Not going to bother convincing sheeples who follow such a case.

STOP CAPITALISING MY NAME! IT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE ONE, NEVER MIND THREE!

That rant has absolutely nothing to do with any supposed scans, or townie sheepitude.

The day ended, and the people had spoken. Well, some of them. Just over half the town voted, and of the four who voted, three voted to see johnhughthom hang. johnhughthom was surrounded by the townsfolk, and beaten to death.

johnhughthom has died!
He was mafia!
His role was Mafia Priest!

All Mafia eliminated!
All threats eliminated!
Town Victory!

Merriton had been saved by an astute guardian, the Town Priest (jarrema), and an equally astute investigator (BSmith). Jarrema defended the Godfather's target, and killed the godfather, and the investigator found the other mafia on his first guess. Set Scumdar on maximum.

Hmm, the last D&D game I played was a bit like that.

Thanks for the game Triaus. Lucky Good game town.

Yeah, it was lucky. My N1 choice was 100% intuition and no real tangible evidence. At least it wasn't random!

wow, that was SO fast!
