Win dain a lotica
En val tu ri
Si lo ta
Fin dein a loluca
En dragu a sei lain
Vi fa-ru les shutai am
En riga-lint

Win chent a lotica
En val turi
Silota
Fin dein a loluca
Si katigura neuver
Floreria for chesti
Si entina

Lalala…
Fontina Blu Cent
De cravi esca letisimo
Lalala…
De quantian
La finde reve

Win dain a lotica
En vai tu ri
Si lo ta
Fin dein a loluca
En dragu a sei lain
Vi fa-ru les shutai am
En riga-lint

that's most likely Portughese...

I think it's Japanese.

I'm downloading it as a write, but is this correct song?

Apparently, its from a movie called Escaflowne - A Girl in Gaia

I've read that the lyrics of that song come from various and no languages, including Italian. This apparently is the English version
of the song:

You were the first dragon
My beloved
I've been watching you
From atop the fairy stump

How beautifully did the water touch those lips
How you shone at the spearhead of battle

La la la la la la la la la...
Because you flew away
The sky is unseen to me

Let's just sell this spinning-wheel
So everything will be illusion

My beloved
You were the first dragon

Check out this link, my source :):

[dance] amazing, that was exactly what I was looking for.
I've been looking for days and you made it in a couple of minutes!
thanks man! :D

It's definitely not japanese.

Is that the theme song fr the Escaflowne anime? It's a solid song, but entirely in Japanese I think. ;) I like it.

Fascinating thread. Everyone has a guess what language it is --- but everyone is guessing a language he doesn't know.

Anyone else reminded of Poe's "Murders in the Rue Morgue?" (And any of you who *don't*know what I am talking about - go and read it!)

What's the story about ? It apparently takes place in France. I never heard of it though.

actually, when I read the song I had no clue what language it was.
I was sure it wasnt spanish or japanese, but there are too many "local" languages in other countries like Vasco or catalan in spain so I thought that could be the answer.
anyways if you have the chanse, listen carfully, the girl who sings performs like Enya, just great!

like enya?

perhaps its celtic :D
