Just recently installed the GOTM packs on my civ 3 gold edition in order to play gotm 30 ie gotm 21,22,23,24 and 25 packs. Everything seems fine excepts some of the tribes such as Togowa and a second Koreans have question marks? where there face should be in the civlopedia there is no description of these tribes either. Pretty sure I installed 100% correct is this supposed to be like this? Or do they show up only in some gotm scenarios?

It sounds like you've missed some files. You should see flags for some of the non-standard Asian civs. The Civilopedia is short of information on most of the gotm-special tribes. BTW, disclosure of the tribes discovered during the game is considered spoiler information and bad karma, so you should raise these questions in PMs to Ainwood or other staff members.

Just to reinforce what AlanH said, there is nothing wrong with your Civilopedia. When those earlier GOTM games were played the players did not know the characteristics of those "mystery" civs and could not get that info from the Pedia. As in real life, when Magellan met new civilizations he had to learn there traits by trial and error.

Yeah, but all of the Civs have now been met in GOTMs and as far as I know, played as the player's civ, therefore the info should be made publically available by now, shouldn't it?

I suppose some people might want to go back and play the old GOTM saves.

My point about spoilers was not that the tribe characteristics should be hidden, but that you should not publicise *which* tribes you meet during a specific game except in the appropriate spoiler threads. A lot of people playing the game would rather discover for themselves who else is around, and when and where they might meet.

I think the lack of civilopedia information does make for more mystery, but is also about lack of resource to provide it. Any volunteers? ;)
